An absolute tent peg 19 PP tossed. So disappointed as the aroma was outstanding. Zero draw. Even after sticking it with a screwdriver and splitting the wrapper

A few from the past few days, was really blown away by the massive sweetness in the Connie A, wow. Punch was as advertised, peanut flavors predominantly. First try at the Dip 2, probably a little too fresh, got some sourdough and bell pepper, but not alot, will give the rest of the quarter box a little more time, Cheers, hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

Decided to fire up a La Fuerza - box code LGR ABR19. I did taste a small buttery undetone, but the prevailing taste was mostly bitter. So overall mediocre at best. However, in all fairness, the cigar was enjoyed ROTT and after spending six weeks on the road due to corona - so far from ideal conditions. The burn however was surprisingly quite good - will clearly have to rest these for quite some time before firing up the next

Hopped on the FOH Zoom last night for the first time.  Greatly enjoyed the banter and a few good sticks. Pacificos, Club Allones and MSU JUL-17 MDO4.

I don't smoke Espendidos much, maybe one a year.These are special to me AMO AGO16-my son's birth month/year.
He dropped the afternoon nap today so it was an earlier bedtime for him and thus I'm out earlier too!
Also tasting better this time round.

Cohiba Medio Siglo TPO Jun 2019

This is the second Cohiba Medio Siglo I've had from a quarter pack I picked up from a 24:24 listing in early April 2020. The first one I had was sensational, this second one was a notch below this; somewhere between above average and excellent.

After that first one, I felt that the Cohiba Medio Siglo does have a buttery texture and coffee notes which relate it to the Cohiba Robusto. However, I'd classify it amongst the richer flavour profiled cigars in the Linea 1492 series, together with the Cohiba Siglo VI. This second one reinforced this viewpoint for me.

This Medio Siglo again opened with quality hay and sweet honey notes. There was more coffee to this cigar than my first one but the biscuit and buttered texture remained consistent throughout and made it quite enjoyable.

I aim to acquire some more when the opportunity presents itself!

With some Glendronach 18 (great cigar whisky) and home made bread and butter pudding.
