Second pic is for @StogieSteve23!!!! Yeah, an ice cold Presidente when it’s hot and humid is tough to beat. A lot of great Caribbean beach beers but Presidente takes the prize. 2

Popular Post Monocle Posted May 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 9, 2020 Alex G’s NC blend made in collaboration with Mi Havana. Domestic distribution in the US is next to nothing but apparently they are quite popular in the Middle East. Alex’s blend is supposed to emulate CCs. It doesn’t hit that note for me but enjoyable nonetheless and was beautifully constructed—again, missing the CC note. ? Weekend calls for two a days. Aged selection single from the Montreal LCDH. Perfect late morning stick. 25
Popular Post JohnS Posted May 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 9, 2020 Ramón Allones Silver Jubilee 2017 - Edición Regional Asia Pacifico ASR Jun 2019 The Ramon Allones Silver Jubilee was announced as the 2017 Asia Pacifico Regional Edition by the Asia Pacific Habanos cigar distributor PCC, along with the Bolivar Silver Jubilee, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Pacific Cigar Co Pty Ltd. The cigar first came onto the market a year later in 2018. It's a montesco-sized 55 ring gauge by 130 mm (or 5⅛ inches) in length, which is incidentally the same size as the Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill. It's commonly referenced on our forum that Asia Pacific Regionals need five years rest to peak. I would say that the Ramon Allones Silver Jubilee is much more approachable at the present time. If I were to compare it to regular production Ramon Allones cigars, I would say that this cigar smoked today was more akin to the Ramon Allones Superiores rather than the Ramon Allones Specially Selected. It had classic Ramon Allones stewed fruit flavours, coupled with a walnut texture and nice refined baking spice. It was very soft on the palate, especially in comparison to the cigar I smoked before this one, the Bolivar Silver Jubilee. For me, it was most similar to a five year-old Ramon Allones Superiores, only this cigar was nigh on nine months of age! So, in summary, I really enjoyed this cigar, but the price point may be a little inhibitive to pick up a whole box. I'm glad at least I was able to sample it from this year's Xmas Sampler! 29

They aren’t technically discontinued but haven’t been seen in several years. I think July 2017 is around the last box date seen. 1 1

Popular Post RDB Posted May 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 9, 2020 @StogieSteve23 your MdO#4s look fantastic. My smoke last night: the ever-reliable value pick, LGR JUL 17 El Principe. Tons of sweet fragrant smoke, half an hour of pleasure in the moonlight. Think this and the Party Short are the only minutos I need. 28

Popular Post planetary Posted May 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 9, 2020 Classic bell pepper and smoked paprika still in effect after 10 years (OPA AUG 09). Nice oily wrapper, and a long finish. 31
