It was a really good cigar. It was a VERY fruity smoke. Loaded with berry/cherry flavors as well as cocoa notes. It was a solid medium the whole way through. In my mind it would be the perfect golf course smoke. Tons of flavor all up front and large enough to stay lit for a long time with little trouble. My wife picked it up for me from an LCDH in Toronto while visiting a friend in 2017 so I wasn't able to get a box code. Cigars of this size aren't normally my go-to but I would definitely be happy if I had a few more of these around. I am confident you will like it, there wasn't a lot not to like in my experience today.

cigar looked promising. Mottled wrapper. Hmmm, maybe this one had some good oily tobacco. 

after the v cut very easy draw. Made sense. It was at 60 rh for a long time. Nearly flavorless though. 
 

Cigar turned out to be uninspired. Decent. Mellow. But zero complexity. Zero flavor development. Not bad. Just not very good. 
 

had some wrapper issues mid way. Maybe not as good of a roll as I had thought?
 

zoom call lasted 2.5 hours. Was great to catch up w some mates. 
 

I've never seen a fake of the old Montecristo label before (clearly fake if it's supposed to be cuban).

I picked up a bottle of that Caribbean Reserve Rye and personally I like the regular BH better.  I was expecting a little more sweetness because of the rum but I almost felt that it had a spicier note left on the throat.  Just my opinion of course.

Last nights Club Allones and my favorite cheap cab, BR Cohn Silver Label.  These sticks are aging very well.  

This mornings breakfast Nespresso, moms banana bread and a wonderful Reynaldo Closed-foot Robusto I picked up from him in July 2018.  Perfect construction (as always from Reynaldo), delicious nutty flavors.  

Hailstorm and a URG MAY-10 Epi 2 while we play rummy.
