HU Mag 50 (ESL SEP-18) first one from the box.  Been in the Humi at 64% for a little over 4 months and thought I'd try one.  Dry boxed it for 5 days at 52%.  Started out very smooth, but getting very little smoke with a tight draw.  Had to work the draw tool almost immediately and improved enough to be a pleasant smoke for an hour and 25 minutes.  Right around the last third it became an effort to keep it lit and I stopped fighting the CC shortly after the last picture.  As you can see from the pictures it is an overcast, rainy day in FL and I'm sure the outside humidity did its work on this CC.  Will try agin in 6 months as I see some FOH members smoking these, and enjoying them, while they are still young.

 

I see you're in Stuart.   I'm down the road in PBG.  I too often think about how much the RH outside plays a factor in the cigar itself when I'm smoking.  I drybox everything (or try to knowingly before smoking) and feel like sometimes as soon as I step outside to smoke, the cigar has almost become a different stick.  Granted more humid days than other play a larger role in this but as a whole, I certainly don't think it help us down here in my opinion..

Breakfast: OPS JUL-16 - JL1 with my Nespresso and moms homemade banana bread (not pictured). 

Great burn but odd draw.  Started out very tight (as most from this box have) got better in the second third and stayed ok but still had to work a bit.  Flavors were nice.  Hay, nuttiness and leather.  Faint hits of nutmeg.

A perfect 2006 Partagas P2 to finish Day 40 here.
 

And, as I have nothing better to do, some background on why I not only enjoy smoking a P2 but why this particular cigar has a personal meaning for me.
 

I was in Havana in 2005 at the Habanos Festival when the P2 was released. I enjoyed it, a great Torpedo.
 

I was also happily surprised by the cigar's name, as my official job title at Lufthansa was ... P2 - that is Long Range Purser on B-747/A-340 ... ?

So this particular vitola carrying my job title has always been a personal favourite of mine, not just because it is a fantastic cigar.
 

Here is a picture of B-747-400 Cpt. Eberhard Strack and me in Singapore with a fresh 10 count box of P2's .. One Captain and Eleven P2's ... ?

Mystery day for me. 
 

I split a box of “cigars” w a buddy in the DR in 2014. We thought they might be real. 
 

I kept one stick in the humidor. Now that I’ve smoked quite a few CC I thought I’d give it a go. Also had a long zoom call set up w some buddies. 
 

cigar looked promising. Mottled wrapper. Hmmm, maybe this one had some good oily tobacco. 

after the v cut very easy draw. Made sense. It was at 60 rh for a long time. Nearly flavorless though. 
 

Cigar turned out to be uninspired. Decent. Mellow. But zero complexity. Zero flavor development. Not bad. Just not very good. 
 

had some wrapper issues mid way. Maybe not as good of a roll as I had thought?
 

zoom call lasted 2.5 hours. Was great to catch up w some mates.
