A Fantastic Smoke last night. A QdO Corona. ETP OCT 15

Fantastic Smoke with a great wine. 

The QdO started off with great notes of Shortbread laced with orange citrus. On the retrohale a pleasant pepperiness. Excellent construction too with a perfect draw.

As the smoke progressed the shortbread remained and the orange citrus intensified. At the final third there was a very interesting taste of Star anise.

One of my favorites. An awesome cigar! I just wish more of these were easier to find. @JohnS and I smoked this same code together last year and we were amazed at the shortbread and orange citrus flavour. Simply beautiful.

As Rob has mentioned - these cigars have a sleep period when fresh. I have smoked these fresh and all you taste is tobacco. You need to let these rest for a minimum of 3 years. Ideal at 5 years and I am keen to see how these change with more aging.
