An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

Had one this morning w a coconut creamer latte. It was awesome.

I still haven’t tried these. What’s the flavor profile like? Body?

They’re great. Medium to medium-full for me.  Some are darker cocoa, others like this one was like a medium baking cocoa, with some light spice.  Different flavor from Montecristo. El Prez’s description is like baking chocolate with a prune.

Definitely worth trying!

Holy shite so what are the chances of two celebration cigars, of the exact same kind, in a row here?

Fantastic!!

I heard the best news that I’d been hoping and praying for the last 2 years. Someone very close to me was diagnosed as terminally ill with stage 4 cancer in the lungs and liver two years ago in Feb, 2018. The doctors at Oakland’s Kaiser Permanente gave up and told this person to enjoy the last few weeks- 3 months with family. I saw this person not lose hope but it was hard to watch the struggle mentally as well as the obvious physical deterioration. Last summer, still alive but barely hanging on, the new oncologist from another hospital, who was willing to fight till the end, started a last ditch long shot treatment with zero guarantee. There was a turning point and all of a sudden a remarkable recovery externally. Yesterday, I heard the good news that this person was declared disease free by oncology as of yesterday!

Celebrating with an ARS OCT 18 La Trova! :spotlight:

Love hearing stories like this, congratulations to your friend!
