mazolaman Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 A RyJ Julietta, one of those new banded, tin boxed things, that was rubbish. No flavour, poor burn, waste of time....but the scenery here in Montenegro mare than made up for it!
Strada Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I had a Partagas Lonsdale from 05 and Eve had a Hoyo des Dieux from 08. Great sticks. And look at that.... I can post pics from my iPhone. Good job on the upgrades boys!
Lotusguy Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 A very nice ERDM Lunch Club - love those things. ERDM is quickly developing into one of my top 3 marcas.
csandbothe Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Had an Opus X #4 that I was looking forward to all day. Unfortunately, it was difficult to smoke and the flavors were quite flat. Blah!
maverickdrinker Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Just testing this out Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk 2
Puros Y Vino Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Our last full day in Paris. And finally the clouds break and the sun comes out!! We had lunch at a fantastic Creperie then went for a very long walk throughout Montmarte. I took along a BHK56 which was just stellar. The great thing about walking about Paris with a cigar is the lack of disconcerting looks. No one holds their children closer, no one gags/coughs or makes funny faces. Salut!
ramon_cojones Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Claus, will have to give those a try since not a fan of the other pls either.
Dimmers Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 An absolutely awesome Siglo VI from 2006! Wow. Little beats a Cohiba with some decent age on it.....except its price tag that is!
phoenix Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 A young, but very good Trinidad Coloniales after lunch. Life is good. Love these babies. Highly underrated cigar.
phoenix Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 An absolutely outstanding Por Larranaga Belicosos Extra RE APAC. Sweet and woody. 10 times better than either one of the PL Robusto REs and the Encantos. One of the best REs ever for me! Must get a box... I couldn't agree more.
phoenix Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Fresh trini Reyes (MUE FEB 12). Should have waited another few days. Stupid sore throat. TOTALLY worth it. Oh yeah. I'm a Trini w-h-o-r-e.
Nino Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Tonight at the pharmacy - pumpkin soup with prawns, Czech beer, a good Canonazo, a very lousy & underfilled Partagas Ser. E Nr 2, totally disappointing, and a perfect rich & creamy Prominente ...

Orion21 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Two very good sticks tonight. '11 RyJ cazzie and Bolivar Royal Corona. Both will be very very good in a few years with additional age. Cheers guys and Lisa :-)
maverickdrinker Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 smoked a ER Canada Ramon Allones Gorditos de Allones tonight...
Lotusguy Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Juan Lopez Maximo RE Suiza 2008. Like all JL that I've tried before, underwhelming.
Nino Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Yesterday evening in the lab - 3 Tabacalera 1881 Gran Reserva Robustos, a bottle of Torres 10, a bottle of Eiswein and 3 Trinidad Ingenios EL 07. Oh - and Andreas taste in shoes & colours ....
Dbone Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Had a Partagas 898 while watching game seven. Good cigar... LLC. I enjoyed an 09 Partagas 898 HQ after grilling some pork chops, I can begin to taste these guys smoothing out. I love this cigar with the smell of leaves and autumn in the air. 2 box rule went into affect on this purchase, one of my first from the Czar. Box number 2 remains hidden, great selections Rob
