CanuckSARTech Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Nope. They don't have much of a sense of smell (its deer that you have to worry about fooling their nose, they have a great sense of smell). Turkeys have phenomenal hearing and eyesight though. That's why I'm not smoking a red dot Cohiba. Sent from my iPhone via Tapatalk.

I did know they had very keen hearing & eyesite. Well good luck with your hunt keith & stay away from the red dot Cohibas.
Nino Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Smoking a Canonazo out in the terrace while the local fire brigade was training on their ladders - glorious sky !
Orion21 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 A wonderfully sweet and creamy SLR Serie A with a coffee this morning. Looking forward to yard work this afternoon and many more cigars :-)
Orion21 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 A young, but very good Trinidad Coloniales after lunch. Life is good.
Kosh Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Having a Montecristo no 1 from -08. Smooth, elegant caffe latte and cocoa beans. Great cigar! Paired it with Spooks Ale and a splash of Laphroaig cask strength. Life is good.
kevinfj Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 2009 must have been a good year. Wow this is good..........
bigharpoon Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Hoyo des dieux. I received this from a trade with a BOTL on another forum so I'm not sure of the box code but I think it was too young. It was decent but not quite what I was hoping for. I just couldn't wait any longer to smoke it, lol. I need more patience.
DougB Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 '12 Half Corona. Good, but not the best one yet. Mag 48 on a dog walk. Decent but not what I was looking for. '08 BPC now on the deck. Another nice night out here. Tasting good.
Orion21 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 '12 PL Montecarlo - only an inch in and so far nice rich tobacco. Will check back in if anything exciting develops.
ramon_cojones Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 ^I got the elusive old lady handbag component with the last one I smoked. Half corona made my cold relapse but damn it was good and worth it. I feel fine now again but need to wait a couple more days to be on the safe side.
shrink Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 2002 Partagas Serie D No. 3 EL. Very nice, mature and flavorful.
LLC Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 FEB 08 Monty 2 started only so so but last half was great.
Ophidion Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Fresh trini Reyes (MUE FEB 12). Should have waited another few days. Stupid sore throat. TOTALLY worth it.
Orion21 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Finishing the day with this 2010 Partagas EL. Loaded with lightly roasted salted almonds and espresso cream. I have always thought these were underrated. Yes the Monte GE is better, but this Partagas is very good. Cheers everyone!
maverickdrinker Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Smoked this to celebrate my son's 2nd Birthday....
Ophidion Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Smoked this to celebrate my son's 2nd Birthday.... So what did he smoke?
LGC Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 2007 Cohiba Siglo III with some Colheita... after a meal of dry aged ribeyes, tomatoes with blue cheese, potatoes lyonnaise, and roasted mushrooms... good night.
maverickdrinker Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 So what did he smoke? Hopefully one of these when he is ready.....
jacktarnold Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Had my first RA CF. oh my it was a delight. I ordered 10 but am going to have to get a box right way. They are too good not to have in my rotation.
Puros Y Vino Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Had an aged RyJ Cazadores From 2000. Lit well, smoked terribly. Draw was horrible, couldn't get any flavour through it. Tried to open it up by massaging the stick. No luck. This thing was rolled way to tight. Fortunately, I had a BGM on hand to save the day. It was rich, leathery and full of almonds. The ash was as pure as snow.
Lotusguy Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 An absolutely outstanding Por Larranaga Belicosos Extra RE APAC. Sweet and woody. 10 times better than either one of the PL Robusto REs and the Encantos. One of the best REs ever for me! Must get a box...
davidsan Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Had an R&J Churchill last night and a Partagas 898 today. Both great smokes.
