These have all been amazing, this one as well.

Knew I was supposed to wait but decided to have a go anyway.  It was between this 3 year old PLPC (TOS MAR-17) and a year and a half old HU Mag 50.  The first half was very good.  Smoked it very slow to let the flavors come out - paired with an Oban 14 year old. The first half the burn was perfect, the second half I couldn't keep it lit.  Oh well, knew I should let them rest -- so, the box is put in the back of the Humidor and will wait at least another year before trying another one.  I did get enough smooth flavor from the first half of the CC that it validated the purchase for what is still a young CC.  Will likely try and buy a box from 18 and then 19 so there will be plenty enough for a normal rotation starting in 2022.

Really good NC. Lots of spice and earth typical of NCs but lacking the black pepper presence that turns me off most NCs. Always love a lancero so picked a couple of these up along with some of the Alex Gonzalez blended NCs, which I’ve yet to try. The double band annoys me but so it goes...
