Have never had one but heard they are good. The Siglo VI. The Ritos is typically really damn good, with a really nice brown sugar type sweetness along with cream, hay, pepper and wood. Well balanced and elegant with some evolution in flavors. This particular example was a little out of balance as it lacked that sweetness and had a bit too much wood. The Siglo VI was mostly everything I look for in a Cohiba. Opening with a light pepper that subsided into cream, a touch of cedar, some nuttiness, and a light earth. The evolution of flavor into a bit more earth and the addition of leather in the second and final third were enough to keep me interested over the couple of hours i spent with it. Thick, lingering smoke with a good aroma, and a razor-sharp burn on this one. Refined and enjoyable.

Popular Post SigmundChurchill
Bolivar Belicosos Fino Reserva Cosecha 2016 You know how once in a while you smoke a BBF, and say to yourself, “That was one of the best BBF’s I have ever smoked.”? Well, that is how this tastes. It is a BBF in it’s best form. The construction is flawless. It has that earthy, dried fruit flavor that I usually taste in BBFs, but it has an added smooth, creaminess to it. If you like BBF’s, you will love this cigar.

Yes indeed...especially if you've left them age. Sure, they aren't complex but they do deliver (an understated satisfaction). Cigars that take time to appreciate and value have invariably been deleted from the Habanos regular production catalogue in the last decade and more because demand has changed. Consumers (in general and not enthusiasts) simply require the cigar to peak sooner. As a consequence, these type of cigars don't sell. Likewise, they sometimes have been inclusive of an outdated vitola such as the lonsdale, coronas or petit coronas sizes. Cigars that fit into this type of categorisation include the Saint Luis Rey Serie A and Double Coronas, the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo line, La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No's. 1-3 and Tainos, Partagas Serie du Connaisseur No's. 1-3, Punch Royal Selection No's. 11 and 12 and Super Selection No's. 1 and 2 and Sancho Panza Non Plus, for example. 8 1
