A magical RASS :D. My POS AGO11 box has finally come round. Before now they were so harsh and unsmokerable. Now rounded and delightful. Happy days.

What a nice ashtray Gary!

Thanks Lisa, I brought it back from Havana last fall.

Cigar looks like it's two ring gauges.

I was wondering about that effect when I looked at the picture but if you look close it is the shadow that is doing that.

Tonight was an epicurean delight. We had dinner around the corner in the Abessess area. I started off with a rich, savory french onion soup. Mary had a mesculin salad. My main was chicken supreme with pasta. Mary had a fish selection of what was borderline sushi but lightly smoked. Quite fresh and delicious. We split a cheese plate for dessert and closed with some espresso.

To finish the night off, I lit a Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios from DIC 09. The cigar was the perfect cap. Cocoa, toasty tobacco, salty taffy, milk and bitter. Chocolate throughout. I rate it a 92. What made it more magical was where I smoked it. I found a little cobblestone park with towering trees surrounded by some buildings. One of which was a studio that Picasso had occupied during his "blue period ". the weather in Paris was cold and rainy all day. Fortunately it started clearing up around 7pm and I was able to enjoy a cigar. :)

Had a great Partagas 898. It was all cream, leather, toasty tobacco. Smoked it in my favourite spot here in Paris. Nubbed it down to 3/4 inch or less. Just a sweet cigar to relax to.

A R y J Coronas this afternoon after having winter tires put on the cars, and then :

Monday again at the pharmacy office !!

Two excellent custom rolled cigars, the first a bit harsh at the beginning but developing nicely and the second :

BOOM, a perfect cigar.

A very "difficult" vitola, the Laguito Nr 1, but really a first class smoking experience for a great get together of 3 men, several beers and 2 bottles of Eau de Vie ... ( The lady in the first picture left early ... the dog stayed )

PS - Also in the picture a box of Phliippine cigars that arrived from Singapore today.

Started the evening with a great Mag 48 EL 2009

Currently enjoying a Trinidad Coloniales while listening to the Giants vs Cardinals. So far it is a nice blend of a QdO Corona and Bolivar :) Young for sure, a few years will do wonders for these.

Last night a cracker - JL Short Robusto Andorra. Thanks Cliff! Tonight a D5 in lieu of El Prez's post. So far, it is good. Much smoother than I remember and some unique flavors. Some rest is helping these for sure. Sugar cane then white pepper.
