Braz, I'm probably one of the biggest skeptics when it comes to cigars and not swayed easily by new releases. I bought two boxes based on a friend's recommendation (whose opinion I trust and has been spot on every time). I have to say it was very tasty and this was rott which I don't normally do. Classic upmann profile, you wouldn't know you were smoking a half corona basically, full flavor. Actually had it on my lunch break and packed a bit of a punch. Be warned, it is very short (that's not what she said). Also the value is quite low given the smoking time but I like them enough that I will be purchasing more after I have a couple more.

cliff notes: if you like upmann you will love these

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

I bought a tin of 5 and smoked 3 so far. They are def full flavoured and full bodied, which satisfies because there is no time to waste on these. I'd def buy a few boxes if I could find them at a fair price.

On to my daily smoke - A BBF from July 11. This thing is so under filled and loose that I'm very disappointed. Very harsh also. I knew it was going to be **** because there were so many soft spots when massaging it prior to smoking... Obviously the apprentice that constructed this one didn't follow directions.

A real let down because the one I had yesterday from the same box was absolutely fantastic... I nubbed it.

Hoyo du Gourmet (slightly out of focus - in all aspects) Petro with Fonseca Nr.1 (in focus - in all aspects)

Sancho Panza Belicoso - down right a very good one, lots of character, great evolution along the way. Too bad burn suffered from some tunneling...

Ending a great Friday with an ESB, a splash of Camus and a PSD4 (-08). Nice.

Had my worst ever BHK. A 54 whose wrapper split at the second half all the way at the third. The draw was tight and halfway developed a charry taste. Disgusted, I pitched it into a Parisian gutter. :(

smoking a FEB 11 BBF right whole box has been stellar except this one very spongey and under filled i hope the trend doesn't continue with the remaining 8 i have from the box. The flavor just isn't all there.

'12 Upmann Half Corona- (another vote for pulling the trigger on a box. I am on my third. Excellent, tasty smoke)

'09 QDO Corona. Trying to get these to 5 years is a lesson in patience. Gorgeous wrapper and delicious time and time again.

Found a cigar lounge in Taipei... Finally get to try a QdO Superiores. It is quite good, but I thought the QdO RE Francia had a little more intense taste. Prices here are ridiculously high - hence I didn't pick up any of their 1998 Trini Fundadores of which they have 5+ cabs in stock - at USD70/stick :opost-7384-13501133566231.jpg

Man, the one time someone from the forum finally visits Taipei, I don't live there anymore :(

Which lounge did you end up going to?

Am quite busy editing or formatting or whatever it's called all of the 700 plus posts on my blog after re-launch and "tagging" them - my right wrist is hurting, so only small cigars ....... jk

Smoking my way through a box of H.Upmann Majestics ROA MAR 07 EMS and just finished off a box of RyJ Nr 2 AT BUL JUL 11, all very tasty.

Look foward to land in Havana in less than 2 weeks and be able to smoke outside again, from breakfast to midnight, in the heat & humidity, large cigars, small cafecitos and laaaarge shots of Santiago 7 ............:daydream:

ERDM Elegantes RE Suiza. Decent smoke but not much evolution and a bit on the weak side. post-7384-13501437800273.jpg

Just starting a Robaina puro from the farm. Will enjoy it while watching some college football.
