RyJ Churchills 2018 and later are back to their 1990s quality, IMO. (Cannot speak for 2016-2017) The only box I have before 2018 is 2015 and it sucks. The 2018 and 2019 sticks I've smoked are high quality. 2019 might need a bit of rest.
Popular Post FireMedic
Have lived on a golf course for almost 5 years and I always say I'm going to get out more, in honor of the Chicago boys living their best life yesterday I left the station, showered and grabbed my clubs. Nudies lancero to start, perfect front 9 treat! Love these sticks!! Partagas partagas partagas!!! Oh and maybe a bloody mary, or just tomato juice, who can really tell Cheers
THEMISCHMAN
I hope that isn't indicative of that code. After hearing Rob sing their praises for the past year, I just ordered 4 boxes! Not sure. Grabbed a quarter box quite a while ago because I really like the size. This is the second one I’ve smoked and neither one did it for me. This one didn’t want to stay lit and was tight even after a couple pokes with the draw tool. Probably the main thing is no matter how much I would like to enjoy a Montecristo they generally always let me down.

But quality is just all over the place. Moreso with that marca than any other it seems.

Popular Post Islandboy
Celebrating a bit this Sunday evening with a UAO Dec 17 CoLa. We’ve had a stray cat coming by since around New Years, stealing food from our cats and getting into the occasional fight with our alpha male. We’ve been trying to trap it for a month, feeding it in the trap during the week, then setting the trap on the weekends when we have time to take it in to the local shelter. After a false start 2 weekends ago, when we awoke to a set trap, only to find one of our less intelligent cats in it, quite unhappy with her lapse in judgment, we finally trapped the correct feline this morning. Having been through this scenario several times now, I took the cat into the shelter for what often results in a death sentence, unfortunately. I was absolutely delighted to hear that she was micro-chipped, her name is Lexi, and her owner had filed a missing cat report in December. Best...Case...Scenario. We confirmed she was reunited with her human today. Feeling pretty damn good right now. Cheers Lexi!! 31

Which vitola is your favorite and why? Is it also your go to regular production Habanos ? Siglo VI is far and away my favorite regular production cigar. I fell in love with them at their inception and have been smoking them ever since. I go through about a box a month. I love the Cohiba flavor profile in general, but the Siglo VI are consistently the most flavorful to me. In the first year or two, the flavors are muted, but after they “open up” they put me in cigar heaven. The advantage of keeping many boxes, allows me to try one, and if it is still muted, I usually leave that box alone and go to another box, and come back to that box at a later date, but this is not an inexpensive endeavor. I’m going to make a bold statement here, especially considering how young they are, but if the 3 I have tried so far are any indication of this cigar, I found another cigar I like as much as the Siglo VI. The Trinidad Esmeralda. As I said, I have smoked 3, basically right off the truck, and in spite of that, they have been so flavorful, I will probably go through a whole box before the typical 3 months I usually let a box rest after I receive it. 5

Popular Post RDB
Connie 1, from BRE OCT 17. Open for business. I really don’t like Upman too young, but this is now in that crisp, nutty, coffee grounds and clean earth phase. Still a bit spicy at the end, but definitely smoking. A grown up cigar, and a fine Hermoso no.4. Smoked under the pyramids at Giza.
