QdO 50. MSU SEP 18. Wind tunnel but somehow still smoked great. These are much fuller than the Coronas Claro.

Interesting, I thought the recent MSU CC were fuller than both the old CC and the 50+54.     Mind you the new boxes of CC i have do have quite deep sandy rosado wrappers

Yes it could well be a box variation issue. Isn’t MSU a Partagas / Bolivar factory? My QdO coronas claro are actually MSU too, but relatively light wrapper.

Trinidad Fundadores ARS Oct 2017

This Trinidad Fundadores exemplified how great these have been in the last 12 to 18 months. The blend exudes the recent emphasis in these towards a coffee and dough flavour, and this dominated throughout, as well as aspects of madeira cake and almond nut.

The only criticism I have is the continual re-lights I needed as a consequence of the cigar regularly going out. That's why it took 2¼ hours to smoke. Again, I had no regrets. After all, a good flavoursome cigar is still a good flavoursome cigar!

My first N1; draw burn construction spot on. Overwhelming pepper through retro for first 1/4 inch. Now smoothed out and Smoking good, to my pallet Over medium. Earth, coffee and spice. Retro turning into nuts and evolving nicely. Nice blend @Elpresidente and hamlet. Love the lancero !

Started of woody & hints of sweetness... Js a lil under medium..

Halfway, earthy notes comes out.... Strength moves to medium.. I would say sweetness & woody js in the background..

Ending with medium full... As the earthy notes stayed & hints of wood...

An enjoyable smoke..
