MAR 14H Upmann Connie A paired with a little Lagavulin 16 Year Scotch. So nice to have tomorrow off so had to go with this cigar-scotch combo cause its delicous. The smooth twangyness of the Connie A paired with the smokey, stinky, peatiness of a fantastic Islay scotch. I find this a perfect pairing for the night. Anyways, I hope everyone had a wonderful week.

My God what some time has done to these. These are like smoking a heavily peppered steak with a sprinkle of paprika. Wonderful draw, a slightly wonky burn but I don’t mind touching a lighter to a cigar once in awhile. Think I’ll smoke another one...

I smoked this when I had a short 30 minutes window prior to dinner with friends. I knew my luck ran out with this vitola when these cigar buddies pointed out how tight these can be. And so it proved so, it was a little tight and I had to re-light a few times. This meant that the flavours were not as crisp, although I still got some nice cocoa, wood and vanilla spice at times. However, overall this cigar turned out just average and not as endearing as the first two from the box. Still, I'm eager to smoke my fourth before the end of the year.

Very nice aged BPC. I can appreciate how age has matured this stick. Flavors meshing nicely.  Paired with a sweet spicy scotch.  '12, I believe.  @Bucky McSwensen?  Thanks dude!
