Good weekend...RASS (forgot pic), CCE (excellent), Upmann Robusto Anejados (nutty creamy bomb...thanks @MigsG) and ERD CS.  If I could get an ERD half corona with the flavors of the final 3rd of the Choix Supreme, I’d hammer that box. Started as a pepper bomb but finished as a honey/leather masterpiece.  I’ll be thinking about that finish for a while.

Vegas Robaina Famosos AEM May 2015

Vegas Robaina...it's not exactly a marca that would be in your rotation right now, right? Did you know that supplies of the Vegas Robaina Unicos (yes, the piramide) were in hiatus at the moment and the Famosos is low? Probably not, but if you manage to smoke a Famosos, Unicos or dare I say, a recently-discontinued Double Corona Don Alejandro, maybe you might be seeking these out!

This Famosos was very much like the rest of this box thus far, which is to say, simply sensational! At four-and-a-half years of age, these are in their prime for my tastes. Again, the raisin-sweet/licorice and cocoa flavours intermingled with some baking spice around a luscious grass core signified some 75 minutes of pure smoking pleasure.

I can see myself having another one before the week is out and then checking how I can acquire another box!

I dropped this on a concrete floor yesterday...thank goodness for Perfec Repair glue. Saved the wrapper for the whole time....and this one requires major reconstructive surgery.  
 

ive smoked 6 of these now and the telltale cloves/nutmeg flavor is really consistent. These are rolled firmly with a corresponding firm draw. More medium bodied than a Vigia, which makes it a perfect afternoon smoke...today lasted nearly 3 hours and it only got raspy at the last inch. Pretty remarkable cigar once I reconciled its mildness. I originally wanted more body out of this vitola.

I’ve been meaning to break into a box of Party D4. Not a special stick but a treat for me to break open a box I have been using for gifts but have not sampled myself. Heavy rain on the way so my session may be interrupted as well. 
 

the real question for me is if I kick off my bday tomorrow w a little C&C which would be a very unusual treat for me. Likely a Boli PC if weather permits.

Punch La Isla. Definitely too young. Great construction and it did have some moments but it’s infanticide with a July 2019 BD.

Too cold tonight for anything bigger, so I settled on a MUO MAY 14 CORO.
