Popular Post havanaclub Posted November 14, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 14, 2019 Fresh M4 from clearance stock. Rob said most HQ or above. This box looked pretty good, smooth Colorado maduro wrappers with a nice aroma. First one after 45 days down or so and it is good, with future promise. Popular Post JohnS Posted November 14, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 14, 2019 El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse MLU Dic 2018 I was determined to not have another one from the box as firm as a dowel so I did a very unusual thing...I actually tested the firmness of the remaining cigars on the top layer before choosing one. You see, this box did not come from our host, and since I have acquired a good proportion of my stock over the years from quality 24:24 listings I feel I have become quite spoilt when it comes to construction. You know, one has to remind themselves that here at FoH we have an askewed sense of what is normal when it comes to Habanos cigars. I'll remember to express my gratitude the next time I see El Pres. As for this cigar, it was the best from the box by far, which is not saying a lot really, as the other 7 or so have all been plugged or tight. This had a perfect draw, had elements of almond nut, floral notes, honey sweetness and toastiness which all up made for 25 minutes of bliss. I think my palate is salivating just thinking about it as I type this out! 23
Popular Post bigbwalls Posted November 14, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 14, 2019 PSD4 - June 18 This box is coming around. Getting that spicy, cinnamon graham cracker and leather. I’ll smoke another in a few months and see how these are doing. 18

Never having an ERDM and being the same size as the du maire (love them) I would like to try these a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted November 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 15, 2019 Today was supposed to be my only early day out of work this week. I figured I would be out by 2:30PM, but nobody seems to know how to keep from breaking their hips, and bursting their appendix these days. So I ended up leaving at 8:30PM, just like any other day. I’m drowning my sorrows in this MOL JUN 18, Siglo VI. 27

Popular Post MigsG Posted November 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 15, 2019 Last couple of Cubans, all winners. '17 RGPC. Rich coffee flavors. If they're always like this, I don't need Montecristo any longer. '16 El Principe. Was a little dry so performed the old lick the wrapper trick, then let it sit 20 mins. Worked. No molasses, however, coffee, vanilla and woody spices came forth. Blissful. And an NC, Lavida Lancero Colorado, courtesy of @Thirds. An easy pleasant light sweet spiced NC. 23

I feel your pain, Dr. I’m not saving lives or mending hips but the business claims a good portion of my waking hours (and sometimes robs what should be sleeping hours). FYI - I know you had a disappointing day but as a forum friend (in a whispered voice) I can see the evidence of the slaughter that took place in your garage...shhh The next hip patient will think twice about breaking their hip on your early day off! Cheers to the perseverance and may you find some downtime this weekend for another smoke. 2 2

And congrats on whatever work achievement took place! 1

And congrats on whatever work achievement took place! Ive really only had a few behikes over the years so there are probably much better opinions to be had then mine. This one today had a very nice smooth flavor to it. It was not a strong cigar in any sense. A good coro would blow this cigar away in my opinion as would a siglo 6 or esplendido...id much rather spend the coin on a box of those these...but I have a few left over from todays smoke so maybe the others will be better. The folks I shared these with all enjoyed them...but they are not as discerning when it comes to habanos. 1
