This Ramon Allones Gigantes was perfect for a nice Spring afternoon's day. The construction was perfect, ash-length, burn and draw were all absolutely ideal. The flavours were similarly 'spot-on' also. I was enamored with the toastiness in this, which I wasn't expecting. Mocha (a combination of milk coffee and chocolate), wood, which was charred at times, leather, spice and dried fruits all made for a wonderfully complex cigar. My first Flor De Cano, and my only one of these. Nice! A gentle smoke, low strength and body. Good flavours: creamy, subtle woodsiness and some lemony sweetness. No dark earthy notes or pepper, maybe a touch of bakery spices. Good in the morning, and fine pairing with some fennel tea. Worked through it quite quickly, but the wide gauge kept it cool. Tons of smoke, and a pretty good burn. Very thin wrapper, which cracked when I tried to take the dratted regional band off. Relaxing.
