Had an LGC MdO #2 (-07) earlier and are now smoking a RASCC. This one is probably from -12, but it is very nice.

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Friday's Italian dinner at Massimo's in the village - we shared several good cigars, a Che Robusto, a Bolivar ER Germany, a Punch ER Suiza, a '98 Cazadores and a '08 Taboada " muy salvaje" - cigars were excellent & food was also quite tasty

At the LCDH Stuttgart today I tried the Punch Sir John RE, which was much better than expected. Started out rather light but developed very nicely throughout the smoke with a subtle sweetness and roasted aromas. Picked up 4 more for now since I don't have enough space in my carry on luggage for a full box but I will buy one for sure.

Then I tried the new Upmann Robusto LE 2012 which was mediocre at best. Unfortunately no resemblance at all in the blend to the sublime Robustos from the travel humidor. Generic LE cocoa and chocolate. BORING! Got one more single to try in a few months. They were July 2012 BD so I broke my rule about not smoking anything less than one year old. Three other guys from the German forum tried them as well and concurred.

Picked up a couple more of the Boli Quinta Avenida RE 2009 since everybody now seems to like them. The 4 I've had so far did nothing for me but I'll give them another chance. The Jar looks nice but is too pricey. The JL Distinguidos jar was sold out already.

2001 El Principe with Greek coffee (metrio)... after completing steps 1 and 2 for El Prez's requirements for a decadent morning. A177E31C-94E2-4387-B93D-F8EBB007CC24-530-000000B449A826CA_zps3924b5e3.jpg

Finishing off a looong working Saturday with a Monte no 2. This stick is from 2006 and has been resting in my humidor since early -07. This one delivers everything you expect from a Monte 2. Paired with a tall glass of Coke Light.

Just fired up an Esplendido. Barely into the 1st third and this thing is already magnificent. :surprised: No review forthcoming though. Just going to relax and smoke. :)

Tried an Illusione Epernay le petit today. Was pretty good for a NC but didn't have the depth or complexity of flavour of even an average Cuban.

Lots of mixed reviews on this one. I just had one @ LCDH Hamburg which was VERY green, but pretty rich and smacked of having some potential. I picked up a 25 box while I was in Saarbrucken, so I guess we'll have to just wait and see...
