Popular Post Diabolicalpherpher Posted October 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2019 My once a year treat, Punch DC UGE OCT 17, to commemorate my anniversary. Spiced cream goodness, better than last year. 25
Popular Post CampDelta369 Posted October 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2019 Morning MC#4. REG MAY 18 PSP. First bad roll on any of these so far. Felt firm but draw a bit loose, then it tunneled almost an inch in! Found empty space right down Center. No wonder I could not keep it lit. Pitched it after 5 min struggle. The surrogate is doing fine. Cheers 18
Popular Post Viva Vegas Posted October 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2019 Custom roll from the DR, picked up in Vegas. This is a great stick. Burns well too 17
Popular Post JohnS Posted October 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2019 Trinidad La Trova 2017 - La Casa del Habano Exclusivo ARS Mar 2018 I've smoked enough of these now, across box codes, to confidently opine that these are a quality LCDH release. They share the similar Trinidad characteristics of a propensity towards butter and cream, however, I have found each one of mine savoury and not evident of the type of milk coffee and dough easily found in recent Trinidad Fundadores for example. If you are familiar with the discontinued (in 2012) Trinidad Robustos Extra, an attempt by Habanos S.A. to release a Cohiba Siglo VI-type vitola to a premium marca, then you'd be aware how good these were and how they have aged so well, if you are lucky to have any left. The Trinidad La Trova strongly reminds me of the discontinued Trinidad Robustos Extra. If you can't source this vitola, be aware that current LCDH production by Habanos S.A sees a limited run of current LCDH product, a hiatus, and then another limited run. If the LCDH cigar is more popular, like the Trinidad La Trova, then this would explain why its more difficult to source. However, be diligent and patient in 'hunting this down' as your efforts will reward you. 21 1

Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted October 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2019 I’m smoking a Monte Maltes in the garage tonight. It isn’t that cold out, but just had in 2 5000 btu heaters installed in the garage, so I wanted to test them out. The ceilings are 15 feet high, so I was a little worried when I saw the size of these units, but they seem to be working really well. It is way to high to use the built-in thermostats, so I had 2 thermostats installed on the wall to control them. Between the heaters and the 2 iqAir filters, I should be good to go for winter smoking. I should have done this years ago. 18

I have had one in the garage stall I walked off and made into my woodworking shop. Keeps the temp above the dew point so none of my cast iron tools rust at all. They are workhorses. enjoy the warm garage 1

havanaclub Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 I’m celebrating my 10 year old daughter making the travel basketball team. We got the email this morning. They only pick 10 girls and there is no participation trophy, you either make the team or you don't. She wanted it so bad, and even though she had no doubts that she would make it, I was really nervous. Not because I didn't think she was good enough. I do. But I was worried about it being political. A lot of other fathers participate in the league, but since I work so much, I cant. Also, what if she had an off day at the tryouts? Anyway, I wanted to smoke some good cigars today. I started with a Siglo VI, early this morning, before we even got the email, because I always smoke a Siglo VI at the end of a 24 hour shift. Then I moved on to some other good stuff. 2014 Monte 2 on the way to the golf course. Novedosos 80th Congrats to your daughter Elliot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 1

I love them. I really enjoyed all 4 cigars though. I hate to pick just one because they were really all top notch cigars. It appears to me you do smoke Siglo VI all day... you're either smoking a beautiful cohiba or at the golf course, I want to live that way....I might have to start buying more Cohiba! ha, keep it up, and enjoy the last leg of golf season 1
Popular Post Boxer1 Posted October 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 25, 2019 I know many think they aren’t worth the hype but when your B&M sells them at a normal mark up I think they’re tough to beat. 20

For me they largely seem to have that sort of bread, blandish flavor. Decent but not great cigars for me. That was kind of my experience with this one. I like Nicaraguans every once in awhile, and this one started off strong, but overall wasn’t any better than a good Olivia v Melanio which I found it similar to and costs more.

Popular Post SonGoku Posted October 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 25, 2019 Montecristo - Petit Edmundo (BTR MAR 09) Felt the urge to try one of these after watching Rob & Ken reviewing their aged vs new video on youtube yesterday. Unfortunately I don’t have a fresh one of these for comparison. I could have gone to the local b&m today to pick one up but they are having a Rocky Patel event today Just kidding, I really don’t remember how RP cigars taste as it has been +10 years sinde I’ve tried one. The event already sold out I think and I wouldn’t have been able to partake in all aspects of the event, so better leave the seat for a person who would be able to enjoy it more than I. 21
