Popular Post earthson Posted October 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 12, 2019 White Whale territory, here. My favorite marca in my favorite vitola - 01 RAPC. Now why the hell would they stop producing this one!? Notes of aged bourbon, molasses, light stewed fruit and an abundance of rich floral character. 24
Popular Post JohnS Posted October 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 12, 2019 La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.4 ETP Ene 2016 I've had two of these La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.4's from my mid-2017 box so I decided to go back to my early-2016 box to compare my recent notes on this cigar. I found this cigar today to be consistent with the others I've had from this box. That is, I've found more wood, fruit and pepper in these and only a hint of almond nut and creaminess, which I look for as these flavours meld into a LGC-marca distinctive 'cake' flavour as they age. It was still a fantastic cigar which I really enjoyed on a pleasant afternoon. I wouldn't hesitate re-visiting this box again in the next few months to see how they are coming along. 21

Popular Post jtfrizzy Posted October 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 13, 2019 ETP NOV 15 Bolivar Royal Corona paired with a New Hollands Dragon's Milk Bourbon Barreled aged Stout. Ive heard so much hype with this beer as it is rediculous expensive, but this cigar kicks its *ss hands down. I mean the beer is good but not worth the price. The cigar on the other hand, well, if you ever read any of my posts about Bolivars you know my love for them. There are many marcas out there and a couple maybe slightly better than Bolivar, but bang for the buck its hard to beat Bolivar (atleast for me) and no other marca has a twang like these when they are aged right. Either way take care all and enjoy this fabulous fall weekend! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk 20

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Looking good, Ray! I experienced the same thing yesterday with a maduro NC. Crisp flavors and enjoyable, but lacking that "umami" aftertaste. There's just something missing. Enjoyed an LGR '17 Punch 48 LCDH this afternoon courtesy of @crking3, muchas gracias amigo! A premium experience that I won't easily forget. In a nutshell, peanuts and sweet herbs. Followed up midnight with a fantastic '17 MEG MAY H. Upmann Connie 1, full on rich espresso and a doughy sweetness (confectioners sugar perhaps?) that kept on going. When a Connie 1 is like this, it rivals the best H.U. Royal Robusto experience I've had. 17

Even more reprehensible IMHO is pricing on the KBS. I have 3 of them sitting in my fridge as well. On the other hand, Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout and Mast Landing Gunners Daughter stout both blow me away and they are inexpensive. 1

Popular Post HumidorJuan Posted October 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 13, 2019 For Canadian thanksgiving we do pancakes with maple syrup for brunch. And get into the scotch right after. Pancakes and scotch? That’s got Trini written all over it. Vigia RAG MAR 18. Still a little young but this one makes another one look promising for next year. 19

This is my first so no basis for comparison but still good and I’d wager still has some legs. 2
Popular Post JohnS Posted October 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 13, 2019 Vegas Robaina Famosos AEM May 2015 This box has simply been outstanding. Vegas Robaina is a marca that is easily overlooked but when you get a fantastic box of this marca, it really can be like nothing else. Today's cigar continued the recent tradition of quality lush tobacco and grass, mild bitter chocolate, dates, baking spice and floral notes here and there. In a word...luscious from 'go-to-whoa'! I've now have 60% of the box left and I'm curious how much I'll smoke through by May 2020 when the box hits five years of age. 23 1
