Lit up my first of 5 La Reina. Very nice, if you smoke it slowly. ERDM RE have been quite good lately (except that horrible Montesco Choix Du Roi - shudder).

Montecristo No.4 UEB May 2018

This is now the seventh above average to outstanding Montecristo No.4 I've had from this box code. It had gorgeous notes of nut and 'citrus twang' mainly...a flavour combination I simply adore in Montecristo cigars. Balanced with the usual cocoa and milk coffee core flavour along its spine, this was pretty much everything I could ask for from a Montecristo No.4 cigar.

I find that the QdO Coronas Claro start off in a bit of a sick period when fresh. Usually after 2 years they get alot better and are ideal at the 5 year mark. Even beyond the 5 year mark they are good.@DirtyHarry smoked a 2007 QdO Coronas which was gifted by @Fuzzand he said it was amazing!

So rest them up and they will deliver!!

How would you describe the Hdm Palmas Extra? 

I would say it’s pretty consistent of the Hoyo Marca. Light cream, nuts, a pretty good value for a shorter type Smoke. Good 45 minutes; if you like the Epi 1 or 2 it’s similar in profile
