Popular Post LLC Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 Enjoyed a drive with top down following a road along a lake. Stopped for this UTE MAR 17 HQ RASS from a cab. Unfortunately the construction was not good so it made the cigar hard to enjoy. The did enjoy the view and the drive. After dinner needed something I knew I would really enjoy. It did not disappoint. Popular Post jtfrizzy Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 MOB JUL 14 Hoyo DC payed with a Victory Brewery Golden Monkey Tripel Ale. All but finished the retaining wall I built for a raised bed garden in my front lawn. All that's ledt is to put the wall caps on and plant some shrubs and plants but cellebrating the hardest of the work is done. I'll take some finished pictures in a few days and post with my cigar. Popular Post Islandboy Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 Just minding my own business, relaxing with a wonderful Sancho Panza beli after a long day under a warm, moist blanket of fairly gray skies and tropical humidity...and this happens. I just had to share the surreal beauty. Oh, and here’s the cigar? 25 2

Popular Post RDB Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 First up, a failed PLPC from early 2018. Poor draw, no flavour, wouldn’t stay lit. Pitched it after ten minutes of struggle. Then this PSP Trinidad Coloniales, also young at MUP ABR 18. First third was a bit underwhelming, and struggled to develop a nice burn. But then, really good Trini flavours came out to play. Not very sweet, but with excellent exotic wood complexity. These cigars get really funky in the last third, with all kinds of fatty, spicy animale flavours going on. Worth the premium. 17
Popular Post SokaKiel Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 Been smoking in Greece for the last few days, perfect weather and the hordes of summer tourists are gone! And traveling up the coast, north from Athens to Thessaloniki also helps. Cigar + Frappe - quite ok! Every table on the outside decks of the ferry to Skopelos had at least one ashtray! And so many people are still smoking, love it! Relaxing on Skopelos, so green and so different from your typical Greek island expectations! Today in the morning I found a small Jazz Café down in the main port, tucked away in a small corner, outdoor seating under a big tree, good music! Tonight I’m at Kapnotopi Oinotopi in Thessaloniki, a small restaurant/bar with a surprisingly big cigar selection that puts many Hotel Cigar Lounges to shame (actually looked at the Four Seasons outside Athens on Tuesday and they literally had six boxes in their full size cigar cabinet!) Popular Post Jbhunter223 Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 Work was slow so I said to hell with it and left early. Though I’d better try one of these ‘00 Palmas cello before the little man gets home from school. 19
Popular Post canadianbeaver Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 My turn to smoke from the trade with @Edward7 We hardly have Bolivar so I asked to teach us a thang or two. And he did! the picture on the right is the illustration I worked on all day on a Fender Stratocaster. Thought you guys would dig it. CB 25
Popular Post JohnS Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 Montecristo Media Corona circa 2016 (thanks @Luca!) Thank you @Luca for gifting me this Montecristo Media Corona. It's been awhile since I've had them, at least a few years, but my memory of these when they first came out was that they were little 'powerhouses'. Tonight's sample was nothing like this, and this is by no means a bad thing. The Media Corona is exactly the same dimensions as a H.Upmann Half Corona (44 ring gauge x 90 mm or 3½ inches), typically smoked in 25 to 35 minutes on average. I remember them being like 'cocoa bombs' when I had a few years ago, this MMC was much milder and complex. It was not unlike a quality Montecristo No.4 in its cocoa and milk coffee blend, with a hint of nut and gorgeous citrus on the edges. It only got more stronger in flavour towards the very end, like just past halfway of the last third. Until then it was every bit a good as the cigars I been enjoying recently that are much more esteemed, such as the Punch 48 or Bolivar Belicosos Finos...yes, it was that good! Like some recent near three-year old H.Upmann Half Coronas I've enjoyed, if you ever get the opportunity to put away these smaller cigars for some time, do so. I can reassure you that they can reward you with a surprising and pleasing complexity. 22

Popular Post Fugu Posted September 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2019 Can't help it - Nice wrapper, perfect construction, excellent burn - one couldn't ask for more, besides... a pretty boring smoke. 'Special blend'?! Then again - a humble BT3..... 18 1
