FIres have been apocalyptic this year. Had a bad respiratory condition flare up as a result recently. Been a really rough summer. Can't do this again next year. I'm moving.  Not only has it negatively affected mine and my dog's health, but I've even been unable to enjoy a cigar for MONTHS as a result of it!

El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse MLU Dic 2018

I had a 20-minute window so this was perfect for a quick smoke. Shortbread, honey and citrus mainly, with a little hint of fruit. In comparison to the others I've had from the box this was the least 'fruity' in flavours but at least the draw was okay. Construction and burn was fine. I think I've smoked a little over one-quarter of this box. I may go a few more and than leave the rest for long-term aging.

SOM MAY 16 Petit Coronas.

May 18 El Principe. These have been resting for about a month and a half. Kind of dusty earth/tannic at first, but quickly turned into bitter chocolate and a syrupy sweetness with a bit of walnut that was pretty enjoyable. Burn and draw were both great.

I think they’re a great cigar. To me they have a wood and nut profile that I really enjoy. The Perlas are another favorite of mine.
