Popular Post Chucko8 Posted August 21, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 21, 2019 Media Corona 2015 Nice creamy start with honey notes. Transitioned to toasted wood and cappuccino. Quite full flavour by the end and a touch hot. 23
Popular Post THEMISCHMAN Posted August 21, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 21, 2019 TOR DIC 16 Edmundo Dantes Belicoso. Semi celebratory cigar as I have been selected to do an internship with my city’s IT Department this fall. I also received a phone call today asking me to interview on Friday for an internship in the spring with an organization in the US Army. I love it when a plan comes together. 30

How's the stick tasting, worthy of the celebration? 1
Popular Post THEMISCHMAN Posted August 21, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 21, 2019 Congrats mate!! How's the stick tasting, worthy of the celebration? Thanks. I think they’re really good. This is the third out of the box and they all have had a unique profile that I haven’t found in other cigars. There’s an unusual twang to them that I can’t quite articulate. All I know is I like it and yes it was worthy of the occasion. Then again, just being alive is an occasion worthy of smoking the best we can. 5 1

Sorry for the picture quality, but the cigar is a La Fuerza. I snapped it quickly while he had his back turned. You certainly are having one of those rare days, I mean the Mets even beat the Indians (with a 74-52 record) 9-2 despite players like Jeff McNeil missing through injury. Could you possibly put your amazing luck into a bottle? 2

A long-suffering Mets fanatic. Yes, it's an anomaly. Sometimes it's just so painful (to watch). But 1969, 1986 and the second half of the 2015 season compels me. At least there are a few of us here who understand what (following the Mets) this feels like! 3
Popular Post MigsG Posted August 21, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 21, 2019 Partagas 8-9-8, LMB FEB '18, thanks to @lovethehaze Settled down for a longer evening cigar than my usual. He was right, this is a rich smoke, with that typical Partagas spice, but also surprisingly sweet and fruity! Great Lonsdale. 24 1

For a while there I thought they might have to use that “mercy rule” they were talking about implementing after the Indians trounced the Yankees the other day. 1

The guy I was watching the game with last night is one of those too. Born in Brooklyn, raised on Long Island. He is so devoted he bought a minority share of the team. I asked him if he makes a lot of money with that. He said “Quite the opposite. It is like owning really expensive season tickets.” 1
