canadianbeaver Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Matthew and I are enjoying a pair of Gold Medals on the front porch.
Lotusguy Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Sitting in my backyard with a coffee and a fantastic SCDLH Habana El Principe from 2010. I hope the rumors about their demise are only rumors.
maverickdrinker Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I'm sure it will give the LCDH in Toronto some time to stock up on more grand reserves and aged stock Lol. Was gonna see if eh had a 2012 el h Upmann today. Stuck in bed. LOL The only silver lining is that I got to update my blog.
Kosh Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Rounding off a great Saturday with a good BBF from -08. Damn, that is a good cigar. With an OSH on the side together with a splash of Camus things are sweet.
Puros Y Vino Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Smoking a Ramone. Allones Mills Fleur from 2002.
nikesupremedunk Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Caught a cold....GGGRRRRR!!!! Nothing in 2 days now!!!! I felt myself coming down with something last night, had a cigar and felt better! Maybe you should try my remedy as well...
LLC Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Cracked open a new box of Siglo IV's and really enjoying it with some 2001 Siro pacenti brunello Di montalicino.
maverickdrinker Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I felt myself coming down with something last night, had a cigar and felt better! Maybe you should try my remedy as well... Might have to try that. Going stir crazy...
Lotusguy Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 MGE LE 2010. Frankly, I don't get what the fuss is about. These are mediocre cigars in the donkey cock format with way too much generic LE chocolate/cocoa flavors and not enough Monte creaminess. Great construction and lots of smoke, though. I think I'm going to ditch my last box. The Sublimes LE 2008 was 10x better IMO.
bolivr Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 A superb VR Unicos. Whole box has been good -boxcode USE Oct 08
Lotusguy Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 RyJ Cazadores from 2010. Strong and good. Together with the Short Churchills, the best RyJ currently on the market, IMO.
LLC Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Cracked open a new box of Siglo IV's and really enjoying it with some 2001 Siro pacenti brunello Di montalicino. As a follow up the cigar and wine deserve very high ratings. I don't normally throw them around but the cigar was a solid 94 and the wine an easy 97. Both outstanding
brutusthebuckeye Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 SLR Serie A from 08....half box left.....these r smoking very nice right now

Paul3 Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Cohiba Genios Maduro. First cigar in the new house. Now to get on with all the unpacking.
Ophidion Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 MAR 06 Monte 4 after a long day of work. Very nice.
Lotusguy Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Arturo Fuente something or other... I think it's a Hemingway. Too drunk to give a crap...
Nino Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Suckling pig dinner with good friends yesterday - good cigars, except for the new German Punch release, flat & boring hot air, but great 00' Sancho, excellent Monte A, good 97' HdM DC and a good CR Robusto. ... Life's good
mazolaman Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Blimey Nino, are you lighting one from the end of another?
Nino Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Blimey Nino, are you lighting one from the end of another? Started at 5 pm, staggered home after midnight, shared the A with my buddy Andreas, the pharmacist ... he's the one on the left with the hat next to the pig's snout ...
Nino Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 This was early this morning, last cigars with 2 bottles of Schladerer ( Alte Zwetschke & Obstbrand ) spirits courtesy of Andreas - the guy with the cigar came down from Belgium, drove to Switzerland, got a few boxes at Portmann, drove back up to share the pig with us and just left back home after a hearty breakfast. Frank ( Afficionado on FoH ) - from Belgium
DougB Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 '06 QDO Gran Corona this morning after a beautiful early-fall morning run. What a fantastic cigar. Then had an '11 RASCC and a '10 QDO Imperiales while playing 18 today. The Imperiales was fantastic...Now winding up the weekend with a PL Regalias De Londres gifted to be by a generous BOTL. First inch tasted amazing but very little smoke. Now it has opened up. Delicious.
winelover Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 RyJ Cazadores from 2010. Strong and good. Together with the Short Churchills, the best RyJ currently on the market, IMO. Not had a cazadores before. Do you still get the RyJ black cherry etc? Thanks G
Lotusguy Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Waking up with an ERDM Demi Tasse from 2008. Great little smoke!
