Popular Post MigsG Posted August 9, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2019 BRE JUN 17 H. Upmann Royal Robusto I was tasting a number of flavors, like walnuts, dark coffee, earth, cocoa...it was like a fine scotch, without the alcohol. Complex, premium cigar. Thanks, @unclepauly25! 19

Popular Post havanaclub Posted August 9, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2019 My last RyJ short Churchill from a PUO JUL 14 box. Absolutely sensational! Loads of twang, fruity, cherry, sweet cedar. I will need a new box of these soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 25
Popular Post JohnS Posted August 9, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2019 Por Larrañaga Montecarlos LGR Abr 2018 Gifted by @Luca (thank you), this darker-wrappered Por Larranaga Montecarlos was much like the previous PLMC I smoked from this same box a few months ago. My previous notes on this cigar are below... In relation to Por Larranaga Montecarlos, I find darker-wrappered varieties tend to be more dominant in wood and spice and lighter-wrappered varieties tend to be more dominant in caramel, or just sweeter and less woody. This was the case with this cigar. It certainly had caramel, but it was more woody than my LGR Oct 17 recent PLM's and had a little spice to it too, although it wasn't 'toasty' in any way. When they are like this I'm prone to rest them until the wood and spice recedes and the blend builds in caramel more. When that occurs is a matter of personal judgement through checking on the box periodically, perhaps every 3 to 6 months as a minimum. In the meantime, I still enjoyed this cigar and appreciated its blend of flavours. This cigar today was pretty much the same. After smoking it the idea that the PLMC is amongst the best value for money Habanos cigars currently available is still applicable, in my opinion. 26 1

Hamlet 25th Year Up Down Exclusive Corona 42 x 5.5 This stick is FANTASTIC ! Light - Medium in Strength but very complex flavors - for me this is the most difficult type of stick to blend. 22

Popular Post kwsaw63 Posted August 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 10, 2019 Long weekend in Singapore, so headed down to the Margaret River region for some relaxation with the missus. It’s a bit nippy out (13c) so kept my smoke to a short & sweet RyJ Mille Fleurs. 24

Popular Post Thirds Posted August 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 10, 2019 Nothing like taking a grueling week head on and coming out victorious. All week it was constant interruptions, noise and phones, miles on the road, and decision after decision made on the fly. Now I sit here alone in the dark with this delicious Monte 2 reflecting on the accomplishments and tired, but in a good way. Success is ours...except for the moment the ash pictured fell in my lap; an undeniable failure that will be forgotten by the next third. Smoke on. 24

Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted August 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 10, 2019 Played some early morning golf with a CoRo before work this morning. And thankfully, I didn’t get rained out like yesterday. I started smoking this Siglo VI on the way to the golf course. Perfect timing because I finished it during the 4th hole, and then when we were teeing off at 5, out of nowhere, the sky turned from blue to dark gray, and it started pouring. We could not have possibly been further from the clubhouse. Thankfully they sent a cart to pick us up. Back home with this La Flor De Cano. The sun is back out again. 29
