Sunday of a long weekend and had a great day.

SOM SEP 15 Punch Punch from a cab. Great as always and enjoyed it with a frozen mojito.


Dinner was some large bone in Ribeye’s with Alaskan King Crab Legs and a great 2006 Dead Arm Shiraz. Still a few years of good life left in these. Nice char in the steaks and rare on the inside.




I had a Siglo IV picked out for tonight but after that great dinner decided to grab a LBT MAY 12 Siglo VI and it was outstanding.

QdO Coronas Claro ETP AGO 16. 5 days in to vacation down in the Turks& Caicos and this is the standout of the bunch. Really coming together at the 3 year point. Just want to punch myself for only getting a sixer of these last year when the boxes were up for the taking before the rebrand. On a positive note, still have 4 left.

Oddly this is the first cigar I've ever had with coffee. For some reason they never sounded good together even though I love them individually. I'm quite liking it!
 

This Party E2 EOT DIC 2016 is starting to shape up quite nicely after some down time. Enjoying it with some Drambui (I know, please don't judge me too harshly. )

Beautiful clean toasted tobacco with a caramel almond taste with a hint of fruit in the retro! Impressed to see how this ages!

When Drambuie is involved I go with a Rusty Nail. In any case it looks like a great way to cap off the evening.

'15 Bolivar Libertador (as usual I forgot to check the box when I pulled it out to get the specifics) paired with a Block House Pumpkin Ale. A little early in the year for this beer to be on the shelves but wth why not. Cigar is great. As for the combo together im still trying to taste it out. Imo a couple fingers of Lagavulin 16 yr scotch would have paired much better with this cigar in particular. And, this ale would be better served with a RASS or maybe even a PSD or PSE. Nevertheless, still a formidable pairing. Have a good week all.

2nd from a 6'er and I think it's my first box worthy cigar of my 4 month CC tasting smorgasbord journey.  BBF from late 2018.  I may hold out until the Connie A and Edmundo are rested as I put them in the same size spectrum, but these are just so good young and show aging potential too.

Still amazes my how these RASS start right off on the lite with sweet fruitiness.. Look forward to some age on these. This one has a perfect draw and very thick smoke. I won’t be able to stay away. Cheers

Arnold Palmer! Now that is funny. I had a Dobe named Tuff Guy. He was a great dog. 118 pounds and sweet as could be. I have a grand champion standard Dachshund named Luke now. 37 pounds of solid rock. He is a huge Dachshund, Really sweet as well.

It's a beast of a cigar. It gave off as much smoke as the great Chicago fire. ?.
