Michel1968 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 A day filled with bliss... (and good company - double bliss) First two glasses from a bottle 'as they are', last glass from a bottle paired with a cigar. Worked out very well indeed! Trimbach Clos Ste. Hune 1981 - Qd'O Corona 2007 Le Montrachet 1996 J. Drouhin - LGC Md'Or#3 2002 Chat. Gruaud Larose 1982 - Hoyo des Dieux 2003
bolivr Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 A RASCC and some Lark single malt (Tasmania) as the leg of lamb for lunch rotisseried happily. It's Father's day here so a perfect time to get into the malt even if it is before lunch. Smoke was sweet, creamy and rich, well matched to the Lark which added spiced fruit to refresh the palate. Cheers! Happy Fathers day

Michel1968 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Ste Hune was good. A tad fatigue but some work and attention was rewarded with a classic mature Riesling, be it on the more subtle side.
DougB Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Yesterday- '11 QDO Corona, then a '12 Upmann Half Corona, and then 2 PL Panetelas with family and friends on the deck. Enjoying the fruits of our labor. Then an '11 RA Extra to close out the night. Great day of food, company, cigars, and amazing weather...Labor Day I work- go figure
canadianbeaver Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 LGC #2 by a camp fire http://instagr.am/p/PFlLg_i1hs/
Ophidion Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Crisantos corona. Jealous of the camp fire. When can I visit, Lisa?
hainsworth Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Partagas Series D No. 4. Has to be the best Partagas I've ever had so far.
LGC Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 2007 Trinidad Reyes and 2007 PSD#4. Both were still a little young, but very enjoyable.
canadianbeaver Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Big effort for me but last day of the summer up north: Cohiba Sig VI. Beautiful.
jrb5783 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Great smoke glad I've (involuntarily) hoarded these
UpInSmoak Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 ERDM PC. Cracked head, but a generous clip and all was good. Very tasty morning smoke.
Ophidion Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Yesterday: Plpc - good Crisantos corona - muy bueno RACF before bed - delicious, but crazy nicotine dreams after.
LLC Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Enjoyed last week on holidays and now the end of the long weekend is coming. Need to smoke something big. Unlike the first Lusi from this box that was plugged, this on is drawing perfect.
Nino Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Pizza in the village piazza at Vito's - Cueto CR Dipped into the JL ER Alemania jar again and finished another bottle of good Irish whiskey
kidmac Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Punch Selection no. 11 2007. Just a real sweet toasty smooth cigar no harshness at all!
maverickdrinker Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 at the Beach... after a successful day on the Beach Volleyball courts
Ophidion Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Cuaba 2008 EL. Probably still needs another 3 years. Really good but a tad harsh towards the end.
Puros Y Vino Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 A 2005 Punch DC to close out the night. Very smooth cigar. Some peanut taste emerges in the final third. Otherwise it was grassy with some sweetness. A bit of sourdough thrown in as well.
headstand Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Celebrated a birthday on the weekend. Treated myself to a Siglo VI - my first. Black coffee with power hits of clove on the finish. Reminds me of when I stud the Christmas ham with clove and can"t keep from taking a bite out of the potent little things. A beautiful cigar.
Ginseng Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Nubbed Bolivar Coronas Gigantes + 2.5 cups of coffee = holy moley, buzzilaaaaaah! Wilkey
