havanaclub Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 LGC Serie D No. 5 ER Espana this evening with some ice in the 1792. Hot and humid, bit needed to get out for a cigar. Love that bourbon. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3
Popular Post TTP21 Posted July 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2019 No Cohiba in my collection, so a SLR Regio will suffice. Slightly underfilled, but hits all the classic flavors. Felt much more like a Christmas cake than my experience with RASS to this point. LAT DIC 18. 21 1

Popular Post MaxSmash Posted July 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2019 I had a friend pick me up a box of H.Upmann Conniseur no 1 from Cuba a month ago. Smoked my first one ever today. It's a wonderful cigar. I'd keep this as a regular in my rotation. Really good bang for your buck cigar. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk 23
Popular Post ha_banos Posted July 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2019 Went for my only one of these this evening. Nice! Making me hungry! 19
Popular Post JGD Posted July 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2019 My old grill burst into flames on Friday night for the umpteenth time. My wife told me to go buy a new one. I may have gone a bit overboard. Testing it out with a ‘18 CoRo for this weekend’s review contest. 23
Popular Post JohnS Posted July 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2019 San Cristóbal de la Habana El Príncipe TOS Jun 2016 I simply needed another El Principe after my last one was so average, so it was well worth digging through my humidor to find another one today. I'm glad to report that it was simply perfect! In relation to the La Fuerza I had this week, this had your typical cocoa, coffee and molasses sweetness but had more strength (around medium) and was spicy, which I loved. 25

Popular Post bigbwalls Posted July 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2019 H. Upmann Royal Robusto - March 17 I've been through a number of boxes of these. Some were great ROTT and some needed time. This particular box needed time. The first couple were ‘eh.’ A couple years later and this one is superb. Smooth draw and burn, vivid flavors that remind me of a gingerbread cookie with plenty of cinnamon spice. Each retrohale stings the nostrils with a strong pepper note (which I love). Great way to end the weekend. 21

Popular Post RDB Posted July 8, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 8, 2019 Here’s a rare event for me: a Lusitania before lunchtime. Whilst working hard, I wish to add, writing in my garden. OBM JUL 16 with a lovely rich colorado colour and good draw. Started quite mild and gentle in flavour, but steadily built in sweetness and richness, with just a touch of spice in the last third. Flaky whitish ash that blew all over the place, and needed quite a few touch-ups. Very nice long smoke, I’m now properly caffeinated and nicotined. A true Cuban classic. Later in the day, a little contrast: teeny tiny Monte Media Corona. To be honest... these are not great (RAU JUL 16). They are ok, but just don’t have the classic chocolate I look for in a Monte, or much elegance. In fact I ordered a great looking PSP box from our host to see if those are better. If not - no more MMC for me! By contrast, the Petit Royale is a fantastic little RyJ with lots of the flavours of that marca, plus a mongrel twist. 24
Popular Post havanaclub Posted July 8, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 8, 2019 OBM NOV 16 Monte 4. I don’t smoke many of these as I have had terrible luck. I keep seeing those beautiful PSP boxes on 24 and I am gun shy but very tempted. This box of 10 I got in Cuba a few years back and they have been inconsistent. But the last 2 have been very pleasant. A true sign she can make the difference. Guess I am keeping the last 3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 20

Popular Post MigsG Posted July 8, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 8, 2019 Enjoyed this '18 Montecristo Petit No. 2 last week. Coffee affogato in a cigar. Finally able to upload photos again! Had this great '18 Punch 48 LCDH over the weekend as well, thanks to @Bucky McSwensen. Interesting combination that works, of peanut, wood, fresh herbs and forest spices. 22
