Sigmund (if I may), I zoomed in on those joggers to your left and they have a look of sheer bewilderment! Now the question, are they thinking a) is that man driving taking a picture of a cigar? Or b) is that man enjoying the elusive Esplendido? Maybe this should be next week’s 50:50. Judgmental Joggers vs Admiring Aficionados, you decide.... 1

Judgmental Joggers vs Admiring Aficionados, you decide.... They are New Yorkers, who often pride themselves on “having seen everything”. If they never saw a guy driving down the street taking a picture of a cigar before, they should thank me. Because now they have. 3 1

I almost plowed in to 5 loose horses out for a walk on an old country highway and it didn’t surprise me one bit. It’s all about comfort with your natural habitat. Thanks for the laugh. Have a good weekend. 1
Popular Post JohnS Posted July 5, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 5, 2019 San Cristóbal de la Habana La Fuerza LGR Jun 2018 I picked up a quarter pack of these a few months ago and again, I'm very glad I did! The SCdLH La Fuerza I had in the 2018 Xmas Sampler in January this year was smoked on a wet, humid night and so it was a struggle to get decent flavour out of it, however, this cigar and the last one from this six-pack acquisition have been great. In comparison to an El Principe this was definitely milder and, believe it or not, sweeter! The cocoa, coffee and molasses was there but the pancake texture was more obvious here. The molasses was even sweeter than normal, something akin to nougat, it was that rich. As with my last cigar, a Trinidad Vigia, the only criticism of this cigar I had was the bunched leaves in the middle third which required a few touch-ups and re-lights. This only lasted for a little while and it corrected itself in the last third. 19 1

Popular Post Deeg Posted July 6, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 6, 2019 HU Connie #1, a single so no idea of box code. A larger cigar than I normally smoke in the AM, but I suspected it would be a perfect coffee cigar and I was right. Solid medium body, classic coffee, nutty, cedar notes all the way through. But that vein, though! It was a whopper, and required constant touch-ups as it just wouldn't burn. 10 1

The one in the picture was very good, but the previous one had a tighter draw than I would have liked. Both of them looked very nice and had very good flavor. 1
