Popular Post CampDelta369 Posted June 30, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 30, 2019 PLPC review today. A treat. Cheers Partagas SD4. LMB OCT 18. So that’s two excellent smokes today. I had to work unfortunately, Sunday, but I can easily find peace in that toil when it ends with a cold libation and fine marca. Cheers 20

Popular Post LLC Posted July 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 1, 2019 Great day and the good news it’s a long weekend so still a day to relax tomorrow. Awesome dinner followed by a TOS DIC 15 Mag 56 with an Americano and then some Courvoisier XO. Haven’t had the Mag 56 often or for a while but it was very good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 27
Popular Post bigbwalls Posted July 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 1, 2019 PSP2 - Jan 18 Finally, a moment to sit down and enjoy a delightful cigar. I’ve recently moved, so it’s been pretty hectic the last two days. I’m sitting in a garage, with a fan on me and using a McDonald’s cup as an ashtray. In the coming weeks I’ll turn a corner of this garage into a proper smoke lounge. TV, Xbox, and an air conditioner... I’ll need to plan on some form of heat for the winter... 22
Popular Post mtd057 Posted July 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 1, 2019 Long day today, my electric panel finally crapped out. Spent most of the day waiting for the electrician and this gem made it more bearable. R&J Churchill LEM OCT 11 from the summer box pass. Courtesy of @FatherOfPugs. 2 hours of bliss! I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. 23

Popular Post JohnS Posted July 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 1, 2019 H. Upmann Half Corona EOT Nov 2016 If you've ever wondered what it's like to have a shorter cigar with a little age on it, especially one like the H.Upmann Half Corona, which is intense in flavour when young, then please kindly read on. I find the Half Corona a great option for a 30 to 40 minute smoke, but I don't reach for them often as I find them very strong in coffee and tobacco flavour when in their youth and light on that quintessential Upmann shortbread. This Half Corona was not like that and I guess 2-and-a-half years of rest saw the coffee flavours recede and the shortbread flavours build. It was very pleasant to smoke it like this. I have three left from a 5x5 tin split I did with some Sydney FoH members (I took one 5-count tin) and I would imagine I'll smoke all three in the next 6 months. 24 1

Upmann cigars! I'd like to say Half Corona shares the elements of Magnum 46 mostly while Connoisseur A is class of its own like others say ?. Half Corona for quick smoke, Connoisseur A for more Upmann experience ?! 3

Popular Post RDB Posted July 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 1, 2019 ERDM CX from OMS SEP 15. Light body and great flavours. Am I the only one that feels these are somewhat like Cohiba, with the grassy thing and a touch of honey? But also something quite savoury / fatty, and really hard to pin down. Crap burn btw, but still a very nice smoke. 23

Kai Ø Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 To me the mongrel aspect is more of a full or harsh strength. Not the ammonia taste but more of a wow i am smoking feeling. Usually people advise to “lay down “ a cigar b/c it is is more “mongrel” or full and needs rest. In the case of the PLPC it seems common consensus is 5 years. This one smoked smooth as silk ! Not really any bite back or overwhelming puffs to me. Really a pleasure to smoke. This is my definition not sure it’s agreed upon but it’s how it makes sense to me. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThanks. Makes sense Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
