A very disappointing RAG this evening. I didn't think a cigar could exhibit absolutely no flavor. Stayed with it just past the halfway point and had to put it down out of frustration. First one out of a 5er, hoping I just happened upon a bad egg.

Working through a box of ERDM Lunch Club, from 08.

Very nice, medium strength, typical Flowery ERDM flavour.

A nice change from the Part Short small smoke.

Entirely possible, but I did dry box it for approx 36 hours and the burn itself held a consistent pace and a nice straight line. These particular RAGs have been in my humi for several months now basking at 65%/68 degrees. When I took it out I did note that this particular stick was several shades lighter in color than it's four compadres with quite a few significant veins that the others didn't show. Mean anything? I don't know, but I took number two out of the humi and placed it in the dry box for a comparison later this evening.

And then smoked my first HDM Petit Robusto. So smooth creamy smoke.

After a really long working Saturday I am finally sitting down with a Quay D'Orsay Coronas Claro from -08. Man, this is one good cigar. And it's my engagement cigar, so the WAF for buying more boxes is pretty high.
