Popular Post RDB Posted March 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 28, 2019 BBF from UBM MAY 18, while my country makes an absolute fool of itself. Started off rich and tasty but not too strong... suddenly grew big muscles when it got to the back half. Having a little sit still and breathe moment now in the sunshine. Classic Bolivar. 24

Popular Post JohnS Posted March 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 28, 2019 Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux BUM Feb 2014 I shared one with with our dear friend @Luca. This had just hit the 5 year mark and it is the best des Dieux I've had in a while. I think the only ones that could top this would be the 2003 bandless des Dieuxs @Fuzz has gifted me from a 50 cab. They were quite something else! What made this cigar so great, so easy to smoke and so dangerous to my fingers when I nubbed it, was the spiced clove, cedar and cream that was initially more spicy in the first sixth of the cigar but then settled into a light cedar and cream combination until the very end. Luca nubbed his too. I had to re-light mine a few times but this did not detract from the overall highly satisfying smoking experience overall. 25 2

If anyone wants to know a Cuban ash when they see one, show them this pic, dark and carbonized!
