It's an HVC La Rosa 520, picked up a box of 10 on a whim some 4 years ago, before I had discovered CC's. I thought they were pretty awful after the first few, quite flavorless. So I buried them, pulling one out about every 6 months or so, always coming to the same conclusion. Until a few months ago. What a dramatic transition! I've never experienced such a change with a cigar. Just a wonderful balance of flavors. And this, with just 4 left. Every time I sample Connie A, they always being consistent and reliable all the time and the burning was much better than previous Connie As (still needed some relights but not much as Partagas Series No. 1). Besides, Stinky Cigar Ashtray served me well by keeping ashes all the time even at windy area which allowed me had a better Connie A experience than before. I can see why Stinky Cigar Ashtray is one of the popular cigar ashtrays on cigar forums including FOH! ☺️ P.S. I can safely attest that these have now progressed to the next stage of their development, the time when the sweetness in them builds up, or alternatively, the woodiness in them subsides. The sweetness in this was like an anise or licorice-type flavour, definitely not vanilla. Underpinned to that flavour was the core spiced wood flavour throughout. Any cream did I hear you say?
