I will be there next weekend, taking my wife, daughter and youngest son (my oldest son is serving in the Army). My wife and I are both celebrating our 50th birthdays this year so we are very much looking forward to this trip. What is your favorite restaurant? I have only been there once and would love a good recommendation. Thank You, and many happy returns to the pair of you too. It’s called Restaurant Vermeer, at the NH Barbizon Palace. It was my first ever true experience of fine dining 15 years ago and since then we made it a point to come at least once a year often twice. This our second time this year so far! This came from a 10-count box of darker mottled-wrappered Montecristo No.2s from 2015 and I've had a few that were good to better-than-average, but this was excellent. What made it so? It wasn't the usual Montecristo milk coffee and cocoa or nut and and leather combination (which was all there), rather it was a delicious citrus sweet tang that lingered from beginning to end and stayed for some time thereafter. 22 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just another proof for me that LE’s are not my thing. I will keep smoking my old stock of various LE’s and try a few of the new ones but won’t go deep on them anymore.So much good regular stuff to be had for a way better price.
