prodigy Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Nice! Congratulations. Can’t wait to see the pictures of the smoking room! Good luck!We found it today and decided we absolutely want it. Now we just need to convince the owners that we should be the ones that get it. The main smoking chair will be in the center part of the horse shoe pond. I did mention to the owner that we were using homes for heroes and she mad a comment that makes me feel pretty confident we have a chance. Fingers crossed for the next few days/weeks!Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 1 1

Popular Post Weeklystogie Posted February 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2019 A unicorn two smoke weekend with a MGR AGO 13 PSD4. 2013 HUPC and some cask strength rum. Nice oily wrapper on this one. Really good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 22
Lotusguy Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Which ones do you have left to complete the accomplishment? That is really impressive. I’m not pursuing it aggressively but I managed to smoke a lot of them over time. Probably 25 left or so - some of which I will never smoke, like the Bolivar Armonias China and the Conde 109. Just not going to pay that kind of money.
Popular Post mtd057 Posted February 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2019 Romeo y Julieta Churchill - lovely from start to finish. Creamy chocolate, strong cherry notes, wonderful construction. Other than being too cold it was a wonderful way to spend 90 minutes. I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. 16

Guest Nekhyludov Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Monte Churchill. Hands down, the best of the Anejados. Not that the competition is very stiff

Popular Post MigsG Posted February 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2019 HDM Epicure #2 with a steaming latte for a quiet, overcast Sunday. ROE JUL 16 Quintero Panetelas on a wet day. Getting that sweet tobacco taste Quinteros are known for. I'm very pleased with this cigar, especially for the price! 12

Popular Post Lotusguy Posted February 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2019 Welcome to Taipei where a SLR Serie A can be found.... for ~$35 Was able to cut my TW trip short by a day (when you travel as much for work as I do, it has long stopped being fun and you just want to be home) so I’m celebrating with this very nice 2014 Boli Libertador - these are one of the best LCDH releases. The hotel doesn’t have a lounge but a pretty decent “smoking room”. 17

Popular Post h. ala Posted February 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2019 Oliva Serie V Belicoso 2017 I have less than 50 NC, this is one of them. I like a Oliva or a Padron once in a while when I feel feed up with CC. This was the last one from a 5-pack I bought from a BOTL. The cigar is perfectly rolled, firm and with a near perfect wrapper. The cold draw is spicy, peppery and a bit hearty (abundant, rich, or flavorful enough to satisfy the appetite). First third is a blast of pepper, chili and that shallow, straight forward, strongness I usually find in nicaraguan cigars. Jacked up coffee, and maybe ceder? Second third is like the first only stronger and the without the ceder part. In the final third of the cigar not much happens. I can feel in my chest that Im hyped up, Like I have taken pre-work out, guess it’s the nicotine. It’s a fun cigar, one-dimensional but consistent and reliable. I will probably never smoke more than 1-2 NC per every other month but when I do this will be one. It’s like Coca Cola, not that fancy but you know what you get and from time to time it’s what you want. 13
Popular Post George-eed Posted February 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2019 Trinidad coloniales, PSP/HQ offering from 24:24 last month. They’ve only had a couple of weeks rest but I couldn’t wait to try one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 15

Popular Post JohnS Posted February 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2019 Montecristo No.4 AEM May 2014 I think that this has been the best Montecristo no.4 from this box so far and I've almost finished it (I believe there is one left!). What I adored was the Montecristo cocoa and coffee combined with smooth creamy texture and hints of nut throughout, which was just perfect. Unfortunately, I find that Montecristo No.4's are a lottery at times in terms of flavour and they can vary wildly. Some may surmise that this is due to mass production as a result of worldwide demand (the Montecristo No.4 is one of the most popular Habanos cigars) and I would naturally concur, but I do wish they were more consistent flavour-wise as per many other regular production Habanos vitolas. El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse SGA May 2017 (thanks @Luca!) Thank you Luca for gifting me this cigar. It's been awhile since I've had one of these, but after having this tonight I wonder why that's been the case? The lemon citrus, shortbread and honey and toasty goodness in this made me lament my current unintentional smoking hiatus of the El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse. When young I do find these 'toasty', when aged long-term they are more 'creamy'. There was a lot less 'toastiness' in its youth here, and I certainly appreciated that in this smoke. I don't think it will be long until I have another. 21

SOM SEP16 is the box code. Enjoyable one for me. Will smoke again after a month or two. Hopefully it gets better. Give it a good rest & try again. It will turn around.

Popular Post liquid360 Posted February 26, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 26, 2019 I have become madly, passionately in love with these stupid f’ing Trinidad La Trovas... I rank them among my all time favorite things, not only cigars. I’m comforted that I managed to get 6 more boxes, but this is getting very expensive, very fast. Having expensive tastes is a complete nightmare. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro 22 1
