Popular Post AbasCigar Posted February 18, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2019 I love when you have no idea what to expect from a cigar. Specially considering you've never tried it before and it's only one year old. And it surprises you with fruity sweetness and cream. Perfect draw. Perfect aroma and perfect burn. Wow thank you H. Upmann magnum 50 for making my evening. 18

Popular Post Chucko8 Posted February 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2019 07 Monte Emundo. Was buttery smooth, with chocolate, coffee and oak profile. Smoke was creamy and thick. Great afternoon! 16

Popular Post mtd057 Posted February 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2019 Beautiful Montecristo Churchill Anejado, not so beautiful night! Although it is 15F/-9C, I needed a cigar. Its been over a week and no amount of snow or cold was going to keep me from enjoying this well made stick. Beautiful construction, excellent burn and there were very few touch ups needed tonight. Started out sweet, with caramel and chocolate followed by a bit of spice and a wonderful cedar note. Other than possible frost bite, it was a very nice smoke on a very cold night! 15

Popular Post RDB Posted February 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2019 Two from last night, both very young but smoking well all the same. The QdO 50 is DIC 18, the Punch 48 from JUL 18. My first of the 48 and I enjoyed it: definite Punch signature woodiness, but in a higher register than say Punch Punch. Nice vitola too. 16
Popular Post Raskol Posted February 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2019 After watching their 2018 Christmas sampler review by John & Luca.... Decided to smoke one..Thank you! For the great review...... Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk 20 1
Popular Post Luca Posted February 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2019 Some smokes from the past couple of days. 2007 Bolivar Gold Medal. My first time trying this. Interesting smoke for a Bolivar. Mild notes of nut, toasted tobacco, and bitter espresso. Very smooth smoke on the retrohale. JAN 2018 RyJ Short Churchill. Nice for such a young cigar. Notes of rose water, toasted tobacco and a slight hint of cherry and coffee. Enjoyable despite starting off a bit rough. @JohnS I am keen to hear your thoughts on the box you got with me. And lastly - Party MF. My favourite daily smoke. This had a strong white ash. Nice Partagas notes of breadiness! 26

Raskol Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Thanks Raskol!!! What did you think of that EL? How did it smoke and taste? Keen to hear your thoughts on it My palate isn't as refine as you guys.. Had to watch the review while smoking.. Had some burn issues towards the last third too.. Had to touch up a few times.. Draw was good, earthiness, lil spice & woodiness was there all along... Some baking chocolate was there but kinda disappeared towards the last third.. Overall was a great smoke.. Can't wait to smoke another in a few months time to see how it goes.. Thanks again for the review! Luca... Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk 2 1

Popular Post MigsG Posted February 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2019 Enjoyed a Monte Open Junior at a friend's place. Just milk /cream + very mild and only slightly sweet hot chocolate powder or maybe cocoa powder is what I got all throughout. Smoked it slowly to fully appreciate. A simple, mild smoke. I had it with a nice 10 yr aged port. 16

Popular Post encephalization Posted February 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2019 Been a while since my last post.. I remember the cigars, even that I smoked the 35th to celebrate but I have no idea pf what I was celebrating. Jeez. PLMCs have been treating me well recently, think they were FEB17s.As last time I posted, I can recommend the San Juan to any HdM fans that haven't tried it yet. Oh, and the Hill (beer) from Southern Grist to any beer drinkers!Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 22

Popular Post Dynamo320 Posted February 20, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 20, 2019 Been sitting on these 898’s for 6 months and finally caved. LMB ABR 18, summer 2018 2424, when they were selling out within seconds. Just wish my hands weren’t numb, but at least there is no wind ? 24
Popular Post slowsmoke Posted February 20, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 20, 2019 BBF TEO JUN 18 What an excellent smoke from beginning to end. Perfect draw. Slightly wonky burn. Lush dark earth flavors. Not a single bad note. 18
