Sounds promising as I have a 50 Cab of 2017 PLPCs resting in my wineador! Thanks for the post 1

What an amazing cigar, blew my expectations right out of the water. It’s kinda like HdM, Montecristo and H Upmann had a love child. And that was just the first third. What a journey! Glad you liked it bro. Quite possibly my favorite custom. 1 1

The wrapper on this, in comparison to my other Por Larranaga Montecarlos box (which contains mottled, oily and almost colorado maduro wrappers on each cigar) was rustic, yellow/brown and non-descriptive, if you saw this in a Bricks and Mortar store you'd surely move on to the next box. However, one puff on this cigar after lighting and I was truly in heaven. This was caramel, honey, milk coffee and toast goodness all the way. I just could not believe how spectacular this was! I shared one with my brother-in-law @Cuzz and he felt exactly the same way! 2. San Cristóbal de La Habana El Príncipe TOS Jun 2016 In comparison to the Por Larranaga Montecarlos I had prior to lighting this cigar, this was a major disappointment, but only because it was a standard El Principe. Cocoa, molasses and coffee throughout, it was a little more intense than what I prefer but overall it was fine, I didn't pitch it or dislike it. Based on your review above of the "Por Larranaga Montecarlos LGR Oct 2017" I got my own box with the same box code. 2 1

I have a SEP 16 cab that was totally off it wheels, but based on the last one I smoked, they are finally coming around and show a lot of promise. Only 4 in, 21 to go, I hope I can stretch it for ten years and see what all the fuss is about.

Popular Post JohnS Posted February 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 10, 2019 Montecristo No.2 PMS Abr 2015 This Montecristo No.2 has come from a 10-count box rested from my OLH. The previous 4 were very good to outstanding, this in comparison was okay. The reason? The cocoa, coffee, nut and cedar elements typically found in Montecristo No.2's was all there, it was just that the flavours were a tad muted in their combination. Towards the back half it showed some leather and dominated in cedar more, but I prefer more cocoa/coffee flavours all the way through. Still, I hope the next one from the box could be my panacea! 19
Popular Post canadianbeaver Posted February 11, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 11, 2019 Anniversary no 33 at the Beaver’s house. Cohibas are 2016 LE’s from Madrid that celebrated the commemorative 50th year of Cohiba. Took this long to get nice taste and burn going. Another couple of years will be even better! Bourbon just came back from Miami with us last week. A+++ on both. CB 22

Popular Post THEMISCHMAN Posted February 11, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 11, 2019 Last AMO ABR 17 Edmundo. I wish the others had smoked like this. I’m now two for two Montes being enjoyable to me. This and the Double Edmundo the other day. I may have to try some No. 1’s. Smoked this Medio Siglo from @crking3 yesterday. Another pretty good cigar. Showed me a lot of what I enjoy about Cohiba. Are they better from the tubo or the cab? 25

Popular Post encephalization Posted February 11, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 11, 2019 Since Thursday, in order (I think).- Hoyo 1999, still great after the first third. Kinda cardboard initially but.. Fantastic after that.- Culebra 2018 with friends. Not bad, the rest of those coffins will rest until 2021 at least though.- San Juan early 2017. Maybe a bit young but still such a great smoke. The BHK of Hoyo in my mind.- Mananitas 2015. Great final smoke of the night in general.- Monte 5 unknown date. Given by a friend. Fantastic, most powerful chocolate I've had in a short.- LGC Caribe. So so.- RyJ No. 1 (tubo) late 2015. Great box, almost as good as the wides (but..).Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 24
