Popular Post Whisky91 Posted January 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted January 19, 2019 Couldn’t resist giving one of my Siglo II’s that just arrived a try. Excellent cigar with great burn line and flavor. I cannot wait to see how they develop with a little more rest. 15
Popular Post HDGSN Posted January 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted January 19, 2019 First stick tested for reacclimation from Cuba - March 2015 RG Perla. Wow, talk about cheap and cheerful! Pairs well with an El Dorado 8 and 70F. 21
Popular Post havanaclub Posted January 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted January 19, 2019 MSU FEB 18 BRC from our host on clearance. The box was stunning and these are just starting to hit their stride. Earthy, slight pepper on the retro but smooth. Woody and just waiting for a little cocoa to show up as Prez mentioned with recent batches. None so far. I find these to be much different than the BBF. Popular Post JohnS Posted January 20, 2019 Popular Post Posted January 20, 2019 1. Juan López Selección No.2 MEL Dic 2016 The Juan Lopez Seleccion No.2 has enjoyed a revival on FoH in the last year. Who could have guessed that this robusto could rival the great Cohiba Robustos (or even the Partagas Serie D No.4) for the most popular cigar of that size on our forum in the past 12 months? This was the first cigar from a new box so I was excited to give this a try, despite the fact that I haven't had the best smoking experiences with this cigar in the last few years. Unfortunately, my poor run of luck continued as the draw on this was very loose and as a result the burn was uneven and required touch-ups and re-lights. This detracted a little from my enjoyment of the cigar, however, the flavour redeemed the experience a little for me, as yes, I did get that citrus orange chocolate and cream coffee blend around that JL2 toasted tobacco core. I hope the next JL2 from the box is better, especially construction-wise. 2. Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.2 BUP Mar 2018 Unlike my previous cigar, the Juan Lopez Seleccion No.2 which was loose, this on the contrary was tight in comparison, but thankfully it was not plugged. I found the tight draw did not diminish my enjoyment of this cigar as thankfully the flavours redeemed this smoke somewhat, much like the JL2. This was light and mild, distinctive Hoyo de Monterrey flavours were evident - light milk cocoa, cedar, clove, cream and vanilla and I must say that these milder, sweeter flavours really resonated with me. Immediately after smoking this, I told myself how important it was to let these rest a little and give it a little time until I reach for the next one, for I fear that I'll finish the box more quickly than I would like, based on the flavours from this first cigar from a new box! 17

pandyboy Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Interested in hearing about the smoke, but I also needed to state that the stand is sick as well. Would definetly like to know where I would be able to find one. Enjoy. -ShakeSorry about the delay in replying. The cigar is good and I have posted a review. The stand was made by a friend and it was a gift. However he makes lots of cigar related items at www.laserus.co.uk Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk 1
