Last evening smoked the last diplo 2 from an 09 box....it was a coffee bean explosion and paired very well with about 6 Bohemia beers. What a good evening it was. A friend and customer had a RASS and a Boli Beli. This is what life is about.

Tonight the first cigar from the premium raffle I was lucky enough to win. Not 100% sure which it is but a great start to a bag of what looks to be great cigars.

Punch Descobridores RE Portugal. Not bad but seemed a bit too young.

Had a great time at the GTA MegaHERF II this weekend! Smoked quite a few cigars and traded for some killa sticks. Two standouts were a LCDH RA Superiores and a 00 RG Lonsdale.

My 'secret' is I just toss the ones that don't burn perfectly. :perfect10:

In all seriousness, here are a few factors which probably contribute:

1. In my experience really young cuban cigars tend to have a 'wanky' burn more often than not, so I avoid smoking them with less than a year's age on them.

2. Wet cigars burn like shite, so I keep my humidor on the dry side @ around 65% RH.

3. I rotate the cigar while smoking which helps even out the burn.

4. If all else fails-- a little touch up here and there with the torch never hurts ;)

Cheers!
