Popular Post HarveyBoulevard
What a miserable morning. On the way back from court I just simply drove past the office and went straight home. I'd quit but my arsehole boss won't let me. I'm such a jerk. I won't let myself quit. What an arse. Topes and a Mark Steffenhagen to soothe my wounds...

Popular Post Akela3rd
Daybreak Cazadores somewhere in the arse end of Gloucestershire. No sleep and a full work day ahead. Oh joy. At least the cigar is good, raising my spirits somewhat. Sent from my ActionMan walkie-talkie 12

Popular Post JohnS
Por Larrañaga Belicosos Extra 2008 - Edición Regional Asia Pacifico EMA Nov 2008 (Thanks @Luca!) I wish to thank Luca for gifting me this Asia Pacifico Regional Edition release from 2008. A Belicosos vitola, 52 ring gauge x 140 mm, this cigar had flavours that really resonated with me strongly, especially as I consider myself a 'sweet-tooth'. Yes, Por Larranaga caramel was present, with honey, but the main flavour was a delicious and smooth butter shortbread which only diminished in the last third when some coffee-type flavours took over. Overall, I very much enjoyed this cigar, it certainly reinforced the notion, for me, that caramel-type flavours build exponentially in Por Larranaga cigars with aging from at least 5 years onwards. San Cristóbal de La Habana El Príncipe TOS May 2016 This is one of my 'go-to' cigars, and generally I absolutely adore these but today's offering was a lot of coffee, some cocoa and not enough of sweet molasses. Incidentally, there was no hint of spice either. What can you say other than you can't win them all! 16
Popular Post Parky
Just finished work for Christmas. Received this as part of a sampler from here a month ago. As a relatively new cigar smoker I’ve tried a few sources in London, I have to say every one of the cigars I’ve smoked from here has been an absolute banger. I had a bellicoso that was an absolute dream to smoke from you, then bought the same in a ‘famous’ shop in London that was ropey af. Keep up the good work Rob and Diana. Popular Post noreaster
Cold war-era Partagas... not one trace of harshness in this 30 + year old cigar. Full of flavor
Popular Post HarveyBoulevard
These cigars are just behemoths. They have a wonderful flavor profile but it's just not something I have time to smoke that often.

Popular Post JohnS
Montecristo No.2 PMS Abr 2015 This I believe was my 4th cigar from a 10-count PSP Montecristo No.2 box which I rested in my OLH for 3 years prior to shipping it. Frankly, they've all been wonderful so far, and honestly, this was no exception either. What stood out for me was the balance, simply put, the blend was just spot on between some delicious mocha chocolate, cocoa, coffee and nut which seemed to be consistent in their intensity throughout the 90 to 100 minutes I took to smoke this. I simply wish more Montecristo No.2 cigars I've had in my life could match this one more often! Partagás Serie D No.6 RAE Dic 2014 This was a little stronger than what I was expecting or preferred, perhaps it was a touch under medium-full, which for a Habanos cigar, is strong indeed. It was also more coffee, toasted tobacco and leather than sourdough and there was no real paprika spice or pepper evident. Still, this cigar was enjoyed at the end of a long working week and I didn't mind it been fuller than I anticipated, in fact, it was a welcome surprise.
