An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

My first 3-cigar day:

Started off with a 00 Punch RS11 which was very disappointing...first third was interesting but after that it was just bitter and tasteless.

RyJ Short Churchill which was also a bit bitter and not as good as the one I had a month ago

Ended with a Padron 1964 Annv Maduro gifted to me by my buddy when we went to B&M tonight.

Sadly, the Padron was probably the best smoke of the day :thumbsdwn:

First proper garden weekend in The Netherlands so I enjoyed it with a '06 QdO Corona & a very nice, sweet Bolivar Gold Medal LSM '08. I finally understand why people jump on these during LFTH, they've gotten really tasty. Perfect smoke for a relaxing afternoon on the deck.

Monte Edmundo - MAS SEP 08

My 3rd from a box I picked up in Cuba in April. Initially these were ridiculously over humidified, but after a couple months in the humi, have really come around. Very fruity and almost bready. These probably won't last too much longer if this one was a sign of things to come.

Monte Esp #2. Expectations met, this box has been smoking very well. You just can't get the same taste from the larger ring gauges.

2000 Monte Joyita. The H2000 wrapper is total chit... and completely ruins a small ring gauge cigar. The box is going in the garbage. Up to my pits with stuff to do moving into a house. Can't wait until I can sit down and smoke a REAL cigar!

RA Libano Phoenicias 30th Anni - at least that's what the band says. Thanks to a great friend and mentor for the smoke.

Wes,

I notice in every picture you post you have like the most perfect burn & ash I've ever seen. C'mon man, share your secrets!

Oh, and had a Siglo II today which was a bit young but still a decent smoke.

Smoked my first Sancho Panza Escuderos last night. Opening the box, it smelled like manure. Plenty of damp went earth and soil coming out. The cigar burned and drew well, but needed a few touch ups with the matches. Hints of nuts, earth and some sweetness I couldn't really place. It was a good smoke, but I think these need more time. I think they'll benefit from laying down for a while.

Well, I finished off the last of my glorious PSP 2s from 2011. Goodness, this has to be one of the best Cuban boxes I've had. Each and every one was a wonderful smoking experience. Plenty of cedar, leather, a touch of spice and pepper and cocoa.
