I wish I could be more descriptive than that, but I have to admit that my palate misses a lot of the nuance of Cohiba, so I don't have a lot of experience or context to apply. There was a nice floral/honey note in the aroma off the foot, but the smoke had an ashy finish - so not a very "clean" flavor yet. I'll try another in a few months. Popular Post LLC
AGR ABR 14 Sir Winnie. Great flavors but slightly under filled so burned a bit quicker than normal. ETP JUL 16 BRC. Perfectly constructed and very enjoyable.

Not that strange to me really - I’m just as often pleasantly surprised by C&C’s as I’m disappointed by the LE Regional Reservas
Popular Post Akela3rd
Monte Media Corona PMS JUN 15, courtesy of@GavLew79 in the UK Box Pass. Thanks Gav! I was interested in trying this as I've had a love affair with the Monte 5 for years (but have been frequently unfaithful with a large number of RG Perlas, scandalous behavior I know but what can you do?). It's very good, though not as intense as the 5. The flavours are there, beautiful milk chocolate all over, and it's smooth smooth smooth. Like the refined older sister if you know what I mean... Very pleasant way to spend half an hour.Sent from my ActionMan walkie-talkie
Popular Post JohnS
1. Rafael González Petit Coronas UTE Oct 2015 Could this be the best from the box yet so far? It's a big call, especially as I've gifted a few, smoked a few and they've been pretty much outstanding. This was perhaps the most 'woody' of the lot, yet intermixed with a light floral bouquet which made it very easy to smoke. I gifted one to my brother-in-law @Cuzz, who promptly sought to purchase a box online whilst smoking his! 2. Montecristo No.2 UTL Mar 2018 The first one from this lot was average, but the next two have been quite good. The blend was well constructed, there was a nice balance of Montecristo cocoa, milk coffee, nut and a hint of cream throughout. (This was) Another cigar which lent it itself to being nubbed to the fingertips! 3. Diplomáticos No.2 LGR Abr 2018 Despite their youthfulness, I've really enjoyed this recent batch of LGR Abr 18 Diplomaticos No.2. They've all exhibited quality in their flavours, mainly sourdough, capsicum, paprika and spice, and this cigar was no exception. This was a joy to nub!
