I'll buy one for a good deal and wear for a few months, get bored, and sell for what I got or more. Did it with 4 of them, 3 being ceramic models. Those were scratch magnets. But after having my birth year watch (16710), I like it much, much better than the new Rolex. Very comfy too, jubilee and the oyster bracelet. Never getting rid of this one

Never getting rid of this one That’s a great train to be on. My other daily is a 116520 Black SS Daytona. A better movement than the AP ROC in my photo. Had a cerachrom version at msrp from the AD and foolishly sold it to a business partner for what I got it for. Still on the hunt to replace it.

I got a box recently and they’re absolutely gorgeous, dark, oily smokes but aren’t smoking very well....granted it’s only been a few weeks .....curious how Uve approaches them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I generally do this with every box i buy (of any cigar): Smoke one the day they show up, to gauge. Revisit the box in about a month. If they’re where i want em, I smoke at will. If not, i give em atleast another month and repeat the process. 2
cmarriott Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 I’ve got a very random question for you guys... when you get a fresh SLB and it has the yellow ribbon wrapped around the bundle of smokes, what do you do with it? Do you cut it down the middle and leave it there? Do you pull it out of the box completely? Just a random thought that popped into my head and wondering what your technique is.

Lift the bundle out and slide one out, drop it, close box. I did use a Bolivar ribbon to tie onto my luggage as a visual identifier so I can see it quickly amongst the sea of black nondescript bags coming out of the carousel at LAX.

Popular Post throberto Posted October 23, 2018 Popular Post Posted October 23, 2018 RyJ Belicoso last night. I had just eaten some raspberry yoghurt and this started off as a continuation of that, creamy and fruity and tangy. The fruitiness dipped in and out throughout with some creamy coffeness and almondy flavours coming in towards the end.My only disappointment was that it was the only one in the humidor, I feel a box purchase coming on! 11

Popular Post JohnS Posted October 23, 2018 Popular Post Posted October 23, 2018 1. Romeo y Julieta Churchills UEB Ago 2017 I can't remember the last Romeo y Julieta Churchill that disappointed me, perhaps it was 2 or 3 years ago. Mind you, I did go 'off' them for awhile, but this lot of 2016/17 RyJ Churchills have been very satisfying indeed! As usual, I loved the berry, rosewater and turkish delight flavours in this, in combination with a smooth toasted tobacco and a hint of sweet anise. I can't wait to have the next one from the box! 2. Quai d'Orsay Coronas Claro ETP Oct 2015 (thanks @Luca!) Gifted by Luca (thank you kindly), this was right on 3 years of age and my goodness, it was outstanding! Beautifully mild, this oozed butter shortbread throughout, together with some citrus and vanilla notes. What a wonderful under-rated cigar this is, do make sure to give them rest prior to smoking one, though! 3. Trinidad Fundadores RAG Nov 2017 This is another vitola that has been very, very consistent for me for the last 9 to 12 months, again, like the Romeo y Julieta Churchills, I can't remember one that let me down this year. The blend was the new, and now, familiar Trinidad coffee and dough or tea cake flavour profile, which was very easy to smoke. I gifted one to Luca and we both nubbed our cigars to the fingertips. Yes, they were that good! Incidentally, Rob and Ken just recently released a video on this very same cigar, with the same thoughts. If you can get a box of these, I'd suggest you certainly do so! 22 1
Popular Post RDB Posted October 23, 2018 Popular Post Posted October 23, 2018 Siglo IV tonight, and it’s a good one. Firmer than usual draw, but that seems to help lift it from mild to mid-bodied. Seasoned wood, some nuttiness, the classic grassy fragrance. Great straight burn, and after half an hour it’s building nicely. A Cohiba that delivers the goods, after a day chopping wood and working outdoors. 15
Popular Post LLC Posted October 24, 2018 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2018 BME AGO 11 Cohiba 1966. Haven’t had one in a while but though it would good for game 1 of the World Series. With an Americano and so far off to a great start. 22
