NCs have their place in this wide world. I picked up a couple in the UK box pass yesterday (Brickhouse and Drew Estate) out of curiosity and will be posting my thoughts on them in time no doubt.

SUA EA00 on the ERdM Lonsdale. First inch muted then getting alive. Brilliant at times but its necessary to pay full attention.

The QdO 50 had some significant burn issues and I'm not convinced of the flavors. So far, not a fan.

MSU FEB 18 BRC. Definitely better than the first one I had out of the box Rott. But still quite young. I think this box will be very good with a few years on it.

Having a party short after Apple picking with the family this morning. Off to my folks house later for a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Needed to get this one in.
Second one from a HQ cab I picked up here a few months back. Very enjoyable so far.

SGA SEP 15 Dip Excelencia ER Cuba, courtesy of @jerrybrowne , to celebrate today’s success. Feels so fulfilling to see all the research, training, planning, and scouting yield a successful hunt - my first successful hunt here in Alaska. No storebought meal can provide the spiritual fulfillment that comes from intimately embedding yourself in the poignant cycle of life and death.

Decided to try the new Dip RE Canada. 

UEB JUL 18. 

Started with a bit of sweetness but wonky burn. When I ashed it about a third of the way through I saw it was coning, cut that off slowed down my smoking and the burn the rest of the way was excellent. Draw was very good. Strength kept building and dominated the cigar at the expense of flavor or complexity. The cigar definitely needs time so I won’t crack the box I have  for at least a year. Hard to see how these will develop so I am undecided in if I will pick up any more boxes.
