mk05 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 After the pukie Fauxhiba decided to smoke my last RyJ Cazzie, gifted to me by Michel from Amsterdam. Heavenly! Did you run laps around you neighborhood after?
csandbothe Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Had a poor burning, but fantastic tasting Upmann mag 46. It was cedar/spice during the 1st third, before progressing to a very tasty toasted cream 2nd, and cream/spice 3rd. My last few cigars were duds (and I'm an occasional smoker!). Tonight's smoke was a welcome change, particularly after a rough day.
Lotusguy Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 RG Lonsdales from 2001. Great construction. Lightly tangy with a surprising amount of spice for an RG. A little dry/chalky mouthfeel. Overall very enjoyable and I am glad I picked up an almost full box from 2002 recently that has much darker wrappers than this single.
Dbone Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 A very good CoRo from a 2008 box. Time has been good to these.
Zaphod42 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Started off this afternoon with a Bolivar PC which was badly plugged and unsmokeable and moved on to a HdM Du Prince which is quite tasty.
Michel1968 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Partagas Seleccion privada #1 2000 Pure bliss...
phoenix Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Punch RS#11 MGT ABR 07. Didn't get going until last 1/2 and then was only so-so...
phoenix Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 A very good CoRo from a 2008 box. Time has been good to these. MEL SEP or OCT?
phoenix Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Extremely tasty RA Grandes Espana RE. Just a bit too long for my taste but they are very nice indeed. That's what SHE said!

phoenix Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 RACF again... so good. OK. that's it-- I'm gonna have to crack open a cab of these!
Ophidion Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Do it. How many times do I need to text you pictures and go on about how awesome they are?
Dbone Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Wow Brendan, I just cracked open my cab of TEB MAR08 tonight for a taste / update. That's an amazing coincidence LOL I agree, TEB had some great 08 boxes. These have developed a sweetness and cream which my 2011 cab doesn't have.
LGC Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 1999 RG Tres Petit Lonsdale. Super firm and jam packed with tobacco... just the right amount of resistance on the draw. Perfect construction! Aromas of exotic spices, baked goods, and roasted nuts. Flavors of leather, cocoa, coffee, and spices. I'm glad I went deep on these.
mk05 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Lighting up some old stuff with bonviviant and spivy in NYC.
Bartolomeo Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 11 PL Andorra RE....good now but better in time like the Regalias 08 Sig IV....very good Mons Robusto.....very good as always Bart
maverickdrinker Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 an 08 Opus X something or other. Had a cedar wrapped foot. Pretty good so far.
Zaphod42 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Another badly plugged LGC Taino followed up by an under filled, and underwhelming early release Genios.
riazp Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Smoked a Diplo 2 last night. Ok smoke. dont think i'd invest in a box however.
ramon_cojones Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Have had a couple of aged diplos in the past and if they were memorable I would have remembered them LOL.
