For my taste, I thought it was excellent. If you told me I could only smoke two NC for the rest of my life I'd choose Padron 1964 and the Haut 10. I'm not one to typically identify a ton of different flavors in a cigar, but this Haut 10 hit me like a flavor bomb. Creamy, malty, honey, nutty, with occasional hints of cocoa and fruit. Lots of transitions. Loved it. The price, now that's a different subject.

Ok I took the bait. When I bought this I was a little concerned about the malt and oatmeal I smelled from the cigar. However, when smoked, it’s very pleasant. Excellent!

Saturday: amazing MUR JUN13 RASS. Not a lot of changes but perfect flavors for what I like. Solid 93-94. Followed by a Fonseca from early 16, gifted. Poor construction to begin with but good flavors in 2nd and 3rd.
Sunday: 1999 Du Prince. Slightly dull to begin with but dang if that didn't change. Great flavors after an inch, cream to begin with then a complex mix of milder cedar, citrusy notes, and vegetables.
Night stick, VSG Ashton Lonsdale. Not bad for an NC. Lets leave it at that.

Labor Day smoke-if you know you know!
Presidencia Lancero-first try.
It suddenly got really hot again in NYC again.Had a nice picnic in Central Park with the family today.
This stick has been sitting in the humi for long enough.Not much info on this, no factory code, no idea on year.
Long ashes everyone, but being a lancero it keeps dropping

Great surprise for me this weekend as my son surprised us with a visit from Texas.  He is stationed at Ft. Hood and scheduled to deploy in a few months so hanging out with him means a lot to me.  I love being able to spend some time with him and especially if we can enjoy a good smoke together.  The picture isnt the best but the time spent with him was.  Partagas Serie D #5. Really enjoying the Regalias purchased from here. Funny thing is I prefer them to the HUPC given their rawness of flavor. Great value if you come by a nice box. :bigup:
