Guest Nekhyludov Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Recent vintage Papo Lancero. I've enjoyed the hell out of these - wonderful construction, complex, nuanced flavors.

Popular Post jtfrizzy Posted September 1, 2018 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2018 @Jay_Habanos and I are simultaneously smoking (from over 3,000 miles and 3 times zones away) this 2006 EL Partagas Series D No. 3 mine paired with a couple fingers of Angels Envy Bourbon. Tonight is a good night. I'm celebrating the signing of the buyer/sellers agreement on my wife and my first house and I know no other brother of the leaf, nor friend of habanos that I would rather share in this remote smoke with then @Jay_Habanos. I've learned alot about not only cigars, but life in general from many of you on this site and after I close on the house hopefully I can get some more of you BOTLs and FOHs to join in with me on a celebratory cigar. Have a good weekend all. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk 11

Will take about five out of the Humidor to dry box and smoke next week. When I cut the cigar, it had that nice dimple from the rollers who use the old bic pen shells to push in the rolled binder at the end. Nice to see such quality rolling in such an inexpensive cigar. The ash was flaky but it was a bit windy. Is this a consequence of short filler? Did i give you any partagas pces/aristocrats/habaneros from my stash? Those are my go-to ~$100/box cheapies - AND you get the partagas complexity. Those are all handmade/ long filler. Same oomph and complexity for chicos/serie clubs (machine made/short filler) and those are MUCH cheaper, lol. Re:flaky ash - yeah i most always have flaky ash on short filler cigars. C’est la vie.
