That's pectin on it, not mold - inadvertently closed the humidor lid on it after some late night drunken rummaging. Glued the 2 minor cracks and am enjoying the flattened head immensely - so much easier to handle the large RG! Maybe I should raise the humidity on the remaining and see if I can press the heads on the remaining!? These are outstanding and don't seem to need the age other Trinidads demand. First third was that delicious cake/donut with what can only be described as an elegant and complex flourish on the finish. Into the second third and now that same flourish is preceded with creamy coffee and a cool, almost minty blast of flavor. Currently enjoying a Maisel’s Bavaria Ale, which is 6.3% of citrus and banana flavoured goodness, with an SLRDC OTS DIC 09 from our host, which is a glorious mesh of creamy stone fruit and leather.
